i have a backlog to i havent even played super mario galaxy or mario kart yet.

I would grab Super Mario Galaxy first as it is pure excellence.
If you haven't already got it then I would personally recommend Zack & Wiki before Mario Kart. IMO anyway.

The amount of bashing in this thread is disgraceful.

Either way, I thought this game sounded interesting, but wasn't sure how good it would actually be. Guess I'll have to pick it up.

It sad because of the total lack of games that can relate to an adult. I do not need every game to relate to me in that manner but ultimately I tend to enjoy such games much more.

Even MGS4 with its comic book styling and over the top sci-fi drama at least speaks to the kinds of things I am concerned about in real life. Like a war economy, or even snakes battle with a smoking addiction.

I may be immature for saying this but yes, I think about sex a lot and sex appeal in a game relates to me as well. So does violence and its consequences.

Not every game needs an underlying fabric of some socially relevant event but even then entertainment value derived from a game has a lot to do with more then game-play to me. I do prefer a strategy title along the lines of Company of Heroes. I do like super ninja's that shower in blood and gore.

Am I a violent person in real life? Not even remotely. But a game that lets me explore said violent or sexual side while exploring a fantasy world is none the less relevant.

But the last family game I enjoyed was not even on the Wii. It was on the 360 and it was Viva Pinata.

Just stop trying to suggest that someone who does not like the Wii is simply fooling themselves. Also, get over someone labeling it as sad. It is not intended as a direct knock at you so I will apologize and rephrase the sentiment.

True. I can understand the frustration. But just look at the number of posts in this very thread personally insulting someones by questioning their sexuality because of that comment. I'm not taking a shot at him because he's bashing a Wii game, I'm taking a shot at him because he's acting like a stereotypical 12 year old saying that any game that doesn't let you pull people's heads off (a mature game) is automatically kiddy, is trash, and isn't even a real game.

What irks me is how anyone is allowed to personally insult someone on these boards despite the policy as long as the use "safe" words. While comments far less insulting but simply using the "wrong" word can be used in a personal vendetta to get someone banned.

I relly need to kick the SW addiction.

I have honestly considered canceling my Internet for a few months to get away from the net in general. It is not a healthy place.

This thread is so full of blind fanboyism, it hurts. There really isn't any logic in SW, is there? Dismissing a game for its graphics and title is more than a little immature. That's like saying Halo must suck because it must be about angels. When you claim a AA game is crap (where exactly did you get that from, anyways: your ***?) and simply base your opinion on its title and art styIe, you really make yourself look ignorant, among other things.

This thread has disappointed me so much that I'm leaving SW for good now. I used to only come here for news, but I now see that my kind, the intellectual, is not welcome around these parts. You all should seriously re-evaluate your current life situations if you spend your time bashing a game that gets a good score. Does it actually hurt anyone in here that the Wii has a good, retro shooter? Is anyone here injured by the presence of a good, original game on a console made by a company you don't like? Has your quality of life increased now that you've bashed a game because of its "kiddy" title and visuals?
