What makes Doom 3 a hardcore game? Its bloody, but its short and its mindless in its presentation. Or Gears? Both Doom and Gears are good games, but they are short, violent, and you can move through them with little thought. On the Wii, that part will be covered by Resident Evil 4 and Manhunt 2

Your other two examples are games that require a large chunk of time and effort, along with pre-planning and thought. Those on the Wii would be Zelda and Paper Mario so far, with more in the pipeline.

They are hardcore games cuz they have A STORYLINE and they arent minigames.

i think youre right, ive been hearing about how the combat in morrowind was dealt with (like some sort of dice roll they call it) to me that sounds pretty broken. still, i guess elder scrolls players knowmore than me about the series.

Here, its yes and no. You should not be insulted for voicing an opinion that is in-offensive. And yes, you have the right to voice an in-offensive opinion. But you also should not expect others to 1) agree with it, and 2) not call out the logic with which you formed that opinion.

I mean thats wii is good for casual players but it actually hasnt got almost any games for hardcore gamers and that sucks, there are still many hardcore players around.
