Anthem 6/10 Gamespot.

This game is next on my list. Wishing for Xbox One X.

Haha, true. I'm talking in the sense that it's significant enough to actually make the game fairly decent when playing with friends (on Hard.) The extra challenge is nice.

When a lot of these games are free to play what's the point of buying this? They're planning on adding shit on later and charging you for it just the same.

How many of these types of games are free to play though? Only warframe comes to mind. You have to pay for the division 1 and 2 as well as destiny 1 and 2 plus you have to pay for the expansions in destiny. Not sure on the division as I quit the first half way through.

Blizzard/Activision actually gave Destiny 2 for free of no charge awhile back but that was on PC and I consider that F2P if we can call it that.

I do love loot shooters and Anthem is very fun game and still loving the gameplay.

Not since the 7.5 Skyward Sword review have I really taken Gamespot reviews seriously... to be honest....

But this is not a bad start on the other direction.

Although I thought they would gie give KH3 a 9 though so then I took one step back.

I learned from my mistake with Destiny. I will pass on this.

Yeah this game is coming off of destiny 2 and its just too late for a game like this to be coming out after the previous destiny games.

@davillain-: you can’t count destiny 2 as free to play as it was pay to play before on PC and it still is on consoles. Warframe is free to play everywhere and has been since day 1. I am also enjoying anthem more than destiny and the division so I’ll stick with it for a little while.

Apparently Anthem only sold half of what Mass Effect Andromeda and Fallout 76 did in the UK. Unless it's selling like hotcakes in the US (spoiler: it's not) then the game is a bomb and Bioware's future is in jeopardy.

EA wants 6 million sales in the first 6 weeks. They'll be lucky to get 3 million with how it's tracking combined with bad word of mouth.

If they get shut down they deserve it. They should have made KOTOR 3 or Jade Empire 2 instead of some shitty Destiny clone with no content.
