Anybody even care anymore if Versus XIII goes multiplat?

Its been so long, long ago when Square Enix announced Final Fantasy Versus XIII as a current gen game from the creators of the Kingdom Hearts series to be coming exclusivly for the PS3, we havent really heard a thing about a release date for over 5 years now, im honestly very curious here to know, does anyone even care anymore if this game goes multiplat or not? most people now just want to play the game and have fun.

share your thoughts and when do you think the game will actually release?

my prediction is since FFXIII-2 coming this year in japan and next year in the world then 2012 should be the release of Versus XIII in December Japan followed by a 2013 release outside of Japan. the question is will it still be an exclusive seeing its been taking ages for it in development? not that PS3 need anymore exclusives if you ask me :P

No. I am having trouble caring about a project that pretty much doesn't exist period.

Its not going anywhere since its vaporware. But lemmings would make a big fuss about it if it did go to the 360.Sp4rtan_3

Nope i dont think so if you ask me, they wont say anything if it does since they already lost enough exclusives to begin with :P.. anyways its all about the game itself, will we ever see this? -_-

Exactly, people seem to forget about it, heck i even forgot about it till i knew TGS was coming soon and got excited to be disappointed knowing SE wont even show it this years TGS -_-

I never cared tbh, as long as i can play it on the system i have its all good.

as for release i think big chance its coming out next year japan and 2013 the world unless they end up making it a PSVita game and if that happens i'll..dont know :P

A bunch of trailers riddled with CGI and "a little gameplay" over 5 years is indication of a project that isn't going anywhere fast. This game may as well not exist.

ive been waiting for this game since 7th grade, now im a college freshy and they wont even bring the dam thing to tgs :cry: if it goes multiplat first of all i will definitely kill because final fantasy 13 was linear crap beyond crap and secondly this is from the GOOD part of square enix aka the Kingdom Hearts team meaning that if its as spectacular as we anticipate than we should know its taking its sweet time for a reason. After hearing small bits of info, seeing screens, and realizing all thats being put into it, ill be content as long as it doesnt release as a multi plat and is just as long to play as it has been to make :lol: so YES i care if it goes multiplat cuz Versus is too high caliber a game for 360

Did a small edit, yes there were the trailers but never ever something solid sadly, a release date or how % the development is going for it and so on

Yeah, FF13 being linear had absolutely nothing to do with it being multiplat considering the PS3 version was almost finished before they began the 360 port.

I hate the logic people use to try and make things seem worse than they are. :roll:

First time i saw Versus XIII is when i was in Grade 11 highschool, now im almost going to graduate from university and still havent played it yet or even a release date :lol:

As far as I know, there have been only three trailers. One was just CG. Another was some sort of teaser with a voiceless cutscene. And the third was 7 minutes and included nearly 3 minutes of gameplay, which showed the battle system taking place in different locations, where the characters battle soldiers, monsters, tanks and more.

It most certainly exists. They just weren't really able to work on it until after FFXIII was released.

3 minutes of trailer gameplay doesn't do much to inspire confidence in me. I know the game "exists" but it might as well not since I don't feel like we've seen anything worth getting excited about in 5 years.

As long as it still coming to PS3, I don't care. I just want it to come out. I piss it won't be at TGS this year.

It might be anyways. Supposedly, Nomura also said it wouldn't be at previous TGS shows where it made an appearance.

I don't view them as different. If in 5 years the footage they put out is insignificant and there is no sign that we'll be getting anything significant anytime soon. Does a game like that really "exist"? Not really, its there but its not. I don't know if you understand the point I'm making.
