Agreed. To be a gamer, ya gotta have a 360.

I don't see myself getting a 360 mainly because they charge for online play and I would rather buy a wii in the future instead since nothing is really like the wii. Other than that I'm pretty happy with ps3 should enjoy the console even more come fall.

Also it seems like half of every exclusive 60 game that comes out comes out for the pc as well so if I really wanted the game I could probably play it on my pc but I have not seen any game that they have annouced that I would be willing to go that length to play.

I already get ever game the xbox360 gets thats not exclusive so there might be 3 or 4 games I miss out on this fall but I like the ps3 exclusives better like socom, LBP, MGS4, WipeoutHD, possibly will get Motorstorm 2, may get Resistance 2.

no. just no. there are several reasons not to buy a 360.

1. if you plan to use it more than 3 years, there is the RROD problem.

2. if you don't like shooters, then there is no point.

3. you don't like microsoft

4. you got screwed when microsoft ditched xbox1 after 4-5 years, and don't want to relive that experience.

I've never gotten the RROD, neither has any of my friends. There is also so many good RPG's coming out it's ridiculous. If you do happen to get the RROD it's free to replace anyway. Do your homework if you expect people to look at you and say, "this guy knows what he is saying". MOOO

I mean really there is so many gamers out there because of blind loyalty that they are depriving themselves of some of the best gaming we have ever seen being done on Xbox 360.

Most will say ahh RROD as a cheap excuse to stay blind to a certain company weather it be Nintendo or Sony?

Lets look at things PS2 had a terrible history of the disk read error. And i and so many others went through 2 or 3 PS2's

Lets go back further look at the great NES i mean come on you had to blow on the dam cartridges to get the dam thing to work pretty much all the time.

So how is it now that we have so many blind fanboys who refuse to buy a 360? And yet call themselves gamers? Because it's no secret some of the best gaming this industry has ever seen is being done on the 360 right now. And in the foreseeable future looks to get even better.

Explain this blind loyalty that we see? And why you are gaming on a lower level then you could be if you just gave in to your desires and got a game machine that ranks up there with the best of them.

I bought a 360.

Its only used at parties that I host. Or i bring it to parties.

It collects dust from me. I don't have that many games and I am saving up because October is gonna be great ( I'm gonna go hungry some days in October ) =/

Maybe from a Sony and Nintendo standpoint. I mean Sony is struggle with games. And Nintendo is to really. Most agree Wii does not have the best game libery except for a few good ones.

As for the 360 it has out of this world online features and funtions for home system gaming. And has an incredible game libery. And many more great games to come. So 360 really is just like the PS2 and the NES both those had the games and the developer support. Yet both those suffered from system failures issues just like the 360.

Well, he's kinda right. Besides Galatic Civilizations II and Sins of a Solar Empire, The PC was chock full o' shovelware this year. I think herms are in denial too.

Actually RROD is a real problem. The Ps2 disk read error effected most launch systems and within a year or two it was all fixed. The new 360 still has that problem 3 years later. Also I can't justify buying a system which has exclusives that either I don't want or I have enough patience to wait a year and a bit and get it on the PCwhackedjob213

Yeah I went through 3 within 6 months of the PS2 launch. I had an in-store warranty just like I do for my 360, so RROD isn't really a factor for me.

When are people going to realize and accept that 360/PC are hand in hand. Like bread and butter. Like peanut butter and jelly. It's MS it's windows it's 360. They both play on the same playground get used to it. So seeing a 360 game go to PC or a PC game go to 360 is like all the same really.

It's Sony fans who should be upset becuase they are seeing great PC games go to 360 and great 360 games go to PC but neither are going to PS3. And Wii well just can't to under powered.

You do know that when you say game library its for the history of said console, right? are you really saying that a 2 or 3 year console has a bigger library than the 20+ years for PC gaming?

You say "this year" but he didn't say that the 360 had the most diverse game library this year, he just said it had the most diverse game library, so he opened the door for his statement to mean this entire generation. I don't think you can still say that the 360 has the most diverse library over the PC this generation.

ive had my xbox 360 since nov 2006 and hasnt rrod on me, I think its the greatest console this gen. As I said in another post sony 1st party games are cheesy as a bad hollywood film, resistance, killzone... you can really feel they are made without taste.navarrogc_395

MLB 08 and Drake's fortune are my favorite PS3 exclusives I played. I cant comment on Resistance or Killzone. I don't have a 360 but I have three friends who do have them and out of the three one has had an RROD problem and one has had their 360 chew up discs. The other has had no problems.

The 360 RROD is a worry for me, and it counts as a negative when looking at the console. Adn as far as NES cratridges go, the NES was one of the most rock solid consoles that almost never broke. Cartriges are still running today and blowing in the cratridge is no where enar as bad as having a 700 dollar system (AU) brick on you and require replacement

x360= RROD, out dated hardware, no built in HD-DVD player, HD-DVD already considered dead, software that can be found on either the PS3 or PC. Those things personally aren't convincing me to run to the store and spend hundreds of dollars. If I wanted to play 360 games I would prefer to spend that money on upgrading my PC.

I gave the 360 a shot for two years and traded it in for a PS3. I could not be happier. I also own a Wii and a PC. The only games on the 360 of any value are Gears (on pc), Mass Effect (way better on pc) and bioshock (going to be better on PS3).
