Anyone who switched from 360 to a PS3 regret it?

Didn't switch, but I sold my 360 due to it being pointless and redundant. All I would play on it are multiplats that I can play on my ps3, and Sony makes the best games, so yeah, not a bad choice on your part.

I can easily say positive things about the 360. It has a superior online system. It is good value, and has consistently been priced more economically than the PS3. It has a good library of games, arguably the best library of games.

If it had more games I wanted specifically for it, I would get one.

I brought an Xbox first and a PS3 a year later. I wish my brought a PS3 first its a far better console has much better games and free online. There is no reason for people to be paying to play online its pathetic. I can also connect my PS3 to my PC and watch movies etc. Xbox 360 is the worst console ive ever brought.

i actually had a 360 then switched to a PS3. not really a fan of most of the exclusives on the PS3. anyways i traded my PS3 back in for another 360 and went to walmart and got a bluray player.im perfectly happy with my choice. and for those who do not believe me about the PS3 my name is lycan7hropy1975. IMO the 360 exclusives are better. ill take 3 great ones a year over 10 good ones anyday.

Ive never ever sold a Console to get a competing one in the same generation. I always saved my money and bought the other one I wanted. That way I had both. I really would never suggest sellinga console even if you dont liek what it has now, because their could be something you do want later on.

I traded my 360 in over a year ago for my PS3 and it was the best game decision I've ever made. The 360 is a waste of money and the PS3 is the console of my choice easily. Therefore to answer your question...Hell No, I do not regret it one bithkymike

I would strongly disuadde you from doing that keep the xbox 360 and save up for a ps3 its not that difficult. You will regret if you do.

I sold my 360 for a Slim PS3. I regretted my decision. I am happy with my PS3. I missed my 360. I bought a new one. Now I am a happy man. And now I regretted selling my Wii.

I own all three consoles this generation and the Xbox 360 is leaps and bounds above the other two (well, just the PS3 as the Wii is virtually non-existant). You do NOT want to trade/sell your Xbox 360 for a PS3 because the only thing you will gain is more remorse over making a big mistake. Think about what you are saying for a few minutes and then ask yourself if you really want to trade the system with more popular exclusives, the better versions of multiplats, and far superior online capabilities for a stripped down console that tries to be a 360.

At least I was smart enough to get ps3 at the first place . I mean if you have both then its the best combination but if you had to choose one then ps3 for sure . Xbox is just pathtetic compared to ps3 . Subscription , failure rate . MS is just so greedy and he dont care about consumers . Xbox may have some games but ps3 games are 100 times better .

Switching consoles is not a good idea imo. I highly recommend you to at least save up for one. If you can't and your still not pleased with the 360, then go for it.

i own both, i wouldnt recommend trading it in.

not to mention there is a deal on xbox live right now to renew for $84 and you get 2 years of live and $20 in MS points. Pretty damn good deal... which should keep you going until the end of this gen.

You do realize they were selling at a substantial loss right? How is that greed, when they are wilfully losing money in the hopes of attaining high marketshare or even selling at all?

I'm acctualy kind of happy i bought my ps3 . For the most part it's just a blue ray player for me , but after my third 360 died my Ps3 is still running like a champ .

Why didn't you answer my question? I asked how it was greed if they sold at a substantial loss on hardware.

They definately did think they had the brand power to pull off high sales, and many people likely did buy it just for the Blu-Ray player, still doesn't answer the question.

I have both consoles. PS3 is the better choice. My 360 is just sitting there collecting dust after playing the small selection of system exclusives. Most of the games on Xbox 360 are on the PC, which can be played in higher quality and resolutions. The PS3 doesn't share much with the PC and there exclusives are better.
