Its sad. I was browsing amazon the other day for games and every game I found interesting was PC only. But all the crappy owned were multi plat lol. Its like PC fanboys saying windows is more stable than osx.
Mac fanboys are so adorable when they talk about gaming...

While you can grab a $900 laptop that has an i7, 6gb of memory and a 2gb GTX 660m(performance of a GTX 460) and weighs less then six pounds....While the $1700+ MBP use intel intergrated or GTX 650m....[QUOTE="Dynafrom"]
The retina might not be the best in raw performance, however it's the best "portable" gaming laptop. What a joke that PC manufacturers still continue to make 2 inch thick, 7LB+ monsters with crap TN screens for $1799.99+, when a thinner, similarly specced, high quality rMBP goes for sub ~2100.

Anyone that buys macs are idiots when you can build a hackintosh for less then half the cost.

I've had 2 crashes in Windows7 since beta. Unless you're screwing with crap, it's as stable as can be.

OSX isn't exactly exempt from bugs and glitches either. There were times when I'd get nothing but a white screen on startup. I usually have to clear the NVRAM twice and restart twice.
650M is middle range GPU. What's more, the laptop has bad ventilation. It's not a huge problem in OSX, but running WIndows on it (which you will, if you want to game on the device) will force the battery life to drop signifantly and temperatures to rise like hell.
Not to mention, retina is actually very bad for gaming. the laptop lacks the power to run modern games in such res...and 1920x 1080 looks far worse on that screen than it does on native. To get good quality you need to drop to 1440x, which on 15 inch screen isn't what I would call optimal.
Retina Macbook is fun laptop, but best gaming laptop? no...

Right, I'm a apple fanboy, who's only apple device is a rMBP. I'd wager my PC setup stomps yours kid.
Lol, people think that when someone buys an Apple product they automatically lose the right to use a Windows PC.Please Log In to post.
