I know I saw the Beta video and I wasn't impressed, thats all I need to know. And for anyone using Gears as an excuse that Halo 3 isn't using almost all of 360s power, remember that Halo has a lot more models onscreen at once than Gears did. Had Gears attempted to have as many models on screen as Halo, the game wouldn't have look half as good.

How do you know this? Did you make Gears of War? No? That's what I thought.

Since you don't seem to know much, I'll tell you. What Bungie said doesn't neccesarily have anything to do with graphics. There could be bugs in the game to fix, or graphical glitches. You seem to think that theres going to be some type of magical jump. Sigh, be prepared to be dissapointed then, cause Beta is usually a reflection of the final game when it comes to visuals. The fact that you're hoping for an upgrade proves how crappy the game looks.

wasnt forza 2 in beta when they released their first pics......enough said....gameplay first..then shiny graphics.

and the game still has 7 months....

I'm not a cow, gameplay actually has something to do with whether i what a game or not, and bungie did mean a graphics improvement  not that its a big deal or anything. Could you please link me to the video of the beta, and i hope its not some **** low res video because you seem sure of yourself and you can make proper judgement from something like that, And that pic of the spartin riding a atv that some one posted above is pre-alpha, compare that to halo 2 pre alpha and you will get a good idea of the huge improvement halo 3 has over 2.

Okay then. Seriously, are people this afraid of Halo 3, that there have to be so many threads about how it's gonna look just like the beta, and how that looks like crap? Halo 2 wasn't the best looking game on the Xbox, and Halo 3 isn't gonna be the best looking game on the 360. What it is gonna be, is a blast on Xbox Live. I don't care if they just upped the resolution of the models in Halo 2, I can't wait to play capture the flag on this bad boy (my gametype of choice in Halo 2).
