Motorstorm = 7.8

And Gears has split-screen multi-player which any racing game should come as a no-brainer.

Beta usually reflects the final graphics of the game. By your logic, since Lair is in its alpha stage, the final build should look better than Crysis. We know thats not going to happen, so you need to understand that Beta is usually the end of the road for visuals and that any further improvements are probably going to be tweaks to sound, design, and oher non-graphic traits of games. Remember the final product of Halo 2 didn't look like a whole different game. Alpha, and Betas normally give a good idea of what the final game will look like. So when you say "only Beta" you must realize visuals aren't going to get any better.

What does those games have to do with anything, Does Gundam Represent PS3 now,? Gundam flopped months ago, No one hyped it. Stop with the diversions, I don't ever remember bringing up gundam. so unless you can bring up something to the  Halo 3 arguement ,don't post to me.

Halo 3 looks like an xbox 1 game, but no one seems to notice. I guess people are in denile. Halo 3 is in Beta form now, so the improvements made are gonna be clearing up glitches and other things, not enhancing graphics. Beta is usually a mirror reflection of the final product. It seems to me that every lemming in this thread is pleased with the Beta graphics, or are confident that bungie will have plenty of time to improve them in 7 months. So to answer your thread question, no lemmings are not in denial. Instead cows are, otherwise you wouldn't be writing this post.

Oh and by the way if you do not happen to like the graphics in halo 3 thats fine because you don't have to buy it. Therefore with GTA being more popular on Ps3, and the combo of Uncharted, MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, 8days, and Killzone 2. I think Sony has a lot to steal Halo's thunder. Especially considering if Killzone Rocks Halo 3. That looks likely as Halo 3 looks and plays like Halo 2.

Yes I think they can improve, but hiring legions more of developers won't help the problem. I'm never made a game (obviously) but I've heard that having too many people develop the same game just overcomplicates things and makes more problems. I think I saw that in one of the bonus videos for Resistance.

Resistance turned out well and they had a team of about 20 to 30 people. I forget the exact number of people they had working on Killzone 2, but it sounded like overkill to me.

I'm hoping the game turns out well, but I have my doubts.

People didn't buy GTA because it was on the PS2, people bought a PS3 because it has GTA on it.

In other words, the GTA fanboys out there have no allegiance to Sony and they sure aren't gonna buy a $600 system to play GTA4 on when they can play the same game on a console that's $200 less plus will have exclusive episodic content.

The other games you mentioned are either unproven franchises or franchises that went up against Halo 2 and lost badly.

I say that because graphic wise Gears match the KZ CG trailer.  Almost everyone that reviewed Gears made mention of it.  So there goes the graphic advantage.

And gameplay, if they fix everything that was wrong with the first one it will be on par with Call of Duty, which means "been there- done that- got the lousy t-shirt"

Spartan character models have alot more polygons, and the enviroment looked a whole lot better too.  Specially considering how large it is.

But when they're done with GTA what will they play next, DMC4, Halo 3, Mass Effect? You do realize that the average GTA fan is probably into MGS, Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, and other Sony games. Because they played them when they had Playstation 2. GTA isn't the only game that GTA fans play, they're not as short sited as you think. You make it seem as if all the people who bought GTA on PS2 will forget about their other ps games for a lousy extra 200 dollars.  You keep banking on all of Sony's fanbase going to xbox because of price. The only GTA to sell 2 mil on xbox was San Andreas. That pales in comparison to 14 million on ps2. Face it YELLOWKOZE, Xboxes main fanbase is shooting. Gears(a shooter) is the only great selling game on the platform after a year.
