You talk about "console gamers need to accept the fact that these games will not be as impressive as on PC". You think every PC owners has GTX 1080 GPU?
Scorpio is like a PC with R9-390X which is generally faster than RX-480 at 4K resolution.
The difference between RX-480 vs GTX 1070 is around 33 percent which mostly effective memory bandwidth difference i.e. Pascal/Maxwell's delta memory compression is better than Polaris 10. Scorpio is about 1.25X faster than RX-480's memory bandwidth.
Scorpio's GPU solution is reflective for this year's RX-480 replacement.
