i only gamed in Xbox and PC the previous gens. I'm tired of the Xbox bull and having to pay for Live. Going for PS4 next gen and if they charge for multiplayer, will just stick to wii-u and PC

playing hard games is not exactly hardcore, that's more like a 1337 gamer. Core gamer is someone that video games is his primary hobby, someone that plays many games and not just one like some people do with COD and Mario games.

And the Wii didn't have any Ninja Gaiden games or Demon's Souls so I don't know what you're talking about there.

the next xbox turns into a cable box like service bans used games and costs an arm and a leg yes i will quit with ms,   i have a wiiu  and plan on getting a ps4 

I started with the 360 this gen, and supported it as my main console.  I am still holding out hope that Microsoft will pull some surprises for the core audience that made Xbox what it is today, though I am doubtful.  My ps3 seems to get more use these days, and I see the ps4 continuing that trend.  I will probably end up owning both, but the next Xbox is looking like it will be a secondary console so I can have my Halo and Forza fix.

Im on the verge of calling it quits on MS. Not that I ever loved them, but Xbox Live was the main attraction for me last gen, a long with my friends.

This gen however the PS4 looks excellent, PSN looks great, and the titles I assume will be adequate.

already called it quits... Pc now. 

Press release in april i think. Then big show at E3. Should wait for more info.

I'll wait till the official 720 spec announcement before I make my mind up about which console I'm going to get.

I've been loyal to Sony for 3 generations, but the PS3 was a steaming pile of overpriced crap. I thought Blu-Ray would blow the 360 out of the water. I was very wrong. Don't even get me started on crappy some of the multiplats play on the PS3. I'm still mad about Skyrim, and I bought XCOM: Enemy Unkown a few days ago. Great game! Except when the frame drops to slide show levels.

As for exclusives............meh. Neither Sony or MS had anything to get excited about this gen. GoW, Gears, Resistance, Killzone, Halo, and Uncharted can all go rot in hell.

I jumped out years ago...so revitalizing.
