M$ feared it enough to attempt to damage control it etc The PS4's hype is still going strong too, as per gamestop demand, preorder demand etc The excitiment levels for the PS4 are off the chains by all factual accounts Mean while no body really cares about Microsoft's sure to be pathetic kinect box 720 reveal lmao As another example, The thread about the PS4 reveal was over 100 pages long within an hour.... Mean while the thread about the next xbox reveal has only now reached 40 something pages for the WHOLE day LOL burn! Also, Sony was saving more for E3 too. The PS4 will have already gathered so much steam by E3. E3 will put the PS4 into full steam ahead! There is also rumors that Sony will do one more quick reveal before E3. The current generation Microsoft had a lot more to offer people at the beginning. BioShock, Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata, Lost Planet, Star Ocean, The Elder Scrolls etc. were not on the PS3. Now the only deciding factor other than hardware features is first party games.

It's not like I've rated a lot of games, or written several reviews.

I don't think that matters. I didnt buy a platform to play things that my cell phone could handle. Even people who founded Xbox are saying this. What in the hell do they know though? They only helped create a platform. Michael has reviewed some games which is far more epic. Lol

Lets just put it this way Im still giddy with left over excitement from the PS4 reveal. The PS4 reveal by Sony was awesome! (and there's still more for E3 too) Was one of the greatest console reveals of all time IMO After watching, all I could say was how happy i am to be a playstation fan:) You really get the feeling that Sony, and their studios cares about gaming - that they just want to put out the best products posible for gamers. You can see how passionate Sony really is about the PS4, about gaming, and about core gamers. It was all very genuine! I dont care if this comes across as fanboyish, but I just want to say, thank you Sony! So looking forward to the PS4! We do appreciate what you do for us gamers Sony:)

We dont know the price of the PS4 yet. It could be cheaper! But even then, im sure the PS4 will be a great value for what ever price it sells at. Dont just look at the price, look at its features and value etc The PS4 will be worth the price of admission (the PS3 was more then worth it, and Sony with the PS4 is doing everything better by tenfold) And lets be real here, It costs a lot to upgrade a PC. The PS4 by all accounts is a specially customised, and wholey efficent high end PC You WOULD SAVE much more money buying a PS4 instead of upgrading a PC to the point it reaches the specs and performance of a PS4 You say the PS4 could cost 500$. I guarantee you it won't, but just for arguments sake, let's say it does..... Well a PC of similar performance WILL cost over 2000$ EASY LOL So if you are that concerned with money, PS4 is the way to go over a PC.... Plus with a PS4 you WILL get MANY great games that YOU WILL NOT be able to play on PC Another reason to get a PS4 If you want to waist money, then by all means, continue being a snobby elitest hermit on system wars though:)

Yeah, but then I also wouldn't be playing games at 60fps, and that's incredibly important to me. Also, gaming is my primary hobby so spending my cash on it really isn't a big deal to me.

PS4 versions might too though. The PS4 is said to be significantly more powerful then the kinect box 720. Not just that, even PC developers have come out and said how happy and estatic they are about the PS4's hardware and its ease of development and use They said they could get their PC versions running on the PS4 with most max settings on in an instant You are going to be suprised by the PS4 :) I love gaming too:)I hear you. Its ONE of my enjoyed hobbies (i have many lol) so thats exactly why im going with the PS4. Its a core console being built by gamers for gamers. Dont forget that

Here's from the guy who even thought up the Xbox brand name. "The past 5 years, and the last year in particular, have been simply painful to watch. Coasting on past momentum. Failing to innovate and failing to capitalize on innovations like Kinect. Touting strategic and market success when youre just experiencing your competitors stumbling failure (yes, Sony, Nintendo you are, Im afraid, stumbling failures). A complete lack of tactical versus strategic understanding of the long game of the living room.

It will be getting more then the likely yearly sequels of Gears/Halo/Forza + kinect shovelware on the kinect box 720. LOL that is for sure. So if you have to choose between the PS4 and the casual kinect box 720, the choice is easy, PS4 all the way
