Maybe, but probably not until it goes down significantly in price. I am not the kind of person that would spend $500 just so I could play a select few games that won't make it on PC (even less of a problem now that the PS4/XBOX are just mid range PCs.

I skipped out on the PS3 this time around. Willing to get back into it.

I might wait for a price drop or something. Not sure on if I want to upgrade my rig first or not. Really depends on my cashflow for next semester.

We dont know the price of the PS4 yet. It could be cheaper! But even then, im sure the PS4 will be a great value for what ever price it sells at. Dont just look at the price, look at its features and value etc The PS4 will be worth the price of admission (the PS3 was more then worth it, and Sony with the PS4 is doing everything better by tenfold) And lets be real here, It costs a lot to upgrade a PC. The PS4 by all accounts is a specially customised, and wholey efficent high end PC You WOULD SAVE much more money buying a PS4 instead of upgrading a PC to the point it reaches the specs and performance of a PS4 You say the PS4 could cost 500$. I guarantee you it won't, but just for arguments sake, let's say it does..... Well a PC of similar performance WILL cost over 2000$ EASY LOL So if you are that concerned with money, PS4 is the way to go over a PC.... Plus with a PS4 you WILL get MANY great games that YOU WILL NOT be able to play on PC Another reason to get a PS4 If you want to waist money, then by all means, continue being a snobby elitest hermit on system wars though:)

What if you don't play online? Also, PSN+ gives you things free for a limited time which you must keep paying to have them for free. So in the case of not playing online, than what advantage is there between either console again? none?

Not just that, even PC developers have come out and said how happy and estatic they are about the PS4's hardware and its ease of development and use They said they could get their PC versions runming on the PS4 with most max settings on in an instant You are going to be suprised by the PS4 :) I love gaming too:)I hear you. Some games may sacrifice looks for higher framerates (BF4 at 720p/60fps), but most won't as those lower quality visuals don't sell well. That's simply not acceptable to me. For gamers by gamers; I'll take the machine built by me for me--an actual gamer! :lol:

I wish i were ! Im just a very excitied gamer! We all are excitied for the PS4. If you are a real gamer how could you not be excitied for the PS4! That would be so counterintuitive! Definitely. I haven't been disappointed with a Sony console yet and it seems they're setting up for a great one. Day 1 or not really just depends on the initial price.
