Are you going to skip school on November 8th?

I saw that there was a similar thread on Modern Warfare 2 shortly prior to release, so why not one for the hugely anticipated Modern Warfare 3?On November 8th, the biggest entertainment release of the year (and possibly of all time) will take place; the important question is, what will you do in order to get to play it?Me myself, I haven't personally decided yet, but I believe that I may take a few days off. In my opinion, I think that as gamers it's our duty to commit our lives entirely to gaming, especially when it comes to such an important game and release. This, as I see it, is more than just a game launch; I think that it should be a day all gamers celebrate, whether we own a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 or a PC. I think we should hold hands that day, and just enjoy ourselves with one of the most gratifying experiences that entertainment can offer.

Probably because today's world is full of gamers who only like games with war. Blood and weapons = 9.0 or higher on game sites Today's world is terrible, IMO. I don't mean to change the subject, but when you only like blood and guns, that's pretty sorry.

The amount of blood in COD is minimal.

That's not my freakin point. People today only like those silly war games. Our world is corrupting itself with gamers like you who only care about your games where you murder people. In the words of GLaDOS, "you monster".

Well I'm talking about IMO, they are far from AAA. Also, who knows, maybe Gamespot will come to their senses and give MW3 a 7.5 because it doesn't change enough. (They did that to Pokemon even though there was alot different about Black and White.)

Maybe they didn't enjoy playing Pokémon? Games are about having fun. If you have fun, you grade it high. If it bores you, the score is lowered. Problem?

They admitted that the game was fun, huge and had lots of stuff to do. The only reason it scored lower was because "it didn't do enough to change anything." Which is BS.
