Are you switching allegiance next gen?

I don't know about any "allegiance" but I'm sticking with my PC and Switch for the foreseeable future.

Switching from PS/PC to Stadia. Digital is the future as i am being told anyways.

PC and Switch still going to support, but I'm switching from PS4 to series X for next gen, probably wont get it till infinite comes out tho

I'm sticking with manticore. Technically I'm not, since I don't own an XBox any more, but... C'mon. MS has effectively declared I own an Xbox.

Not sure when I'll get a ps5 though. I've got a stack of games to finish now and cp2077 on the way. New consoles can wait a year or two.

I always gets a Sony and Nintendo console and I dont think it will change.

I have no allegiance. I own a PS4 Pro, X1X and a dust collecting Switch. I'm getting a PS5 at launch because Sony is bringing big first party titles at launch and throughout the entire first year. I may get an XSX in a couple years if Avowed and Fable deliver.

I usually buy every system, but this gen I'm sticking with my pc and switch until I see enough exclusive games on the PS5 to consider it a must buy.

I am switching to Phillips CD-i and Atari Jaguar with a little bit of Virtual Boy. That should cover all my gaming needs.

System has a game I like, I'll play it. If said game is on multiple systems, roll with the best version.

None of those options apply. I've been a multi console owner from the start. Since Microsoft jumped in, I've had all three systems every generation. No need to stop now.

My "allegiance" is to play games, since I can afford to purchase whatever I want if a game is exclusive to a system I get the system and actually end up purchasing several of each system; if a game is in several systems I pick the best version.

Sticking with Xbox (XSX) and PC next generation. Sony doesn’t make the games I like/their customer service is subpar, and I’m not 12 so the Switch has no use for me.

I’m not exactly “manticore” as I’m not into PC gaming but I do eventually get the three main consoles each gen. I guess you could say that I’m “sticking” with Xbox as that’ll be my main system and Nintendo and Sony will mainly be for their respective exclusives. I do sometimes double dip and get the occasional third party game on the Switch for that portability factor.

PC and Switch has most everything I want. If I did get a new console, it would be the Series X. That's a very big if.

And I have zero interest in a PS5 after how lackluster the PS4 was for me.

Might get an Xbox Series S2/SS only if it has a physical drive.

If anything this generational jump has been the weakest in the history of the medium.

No killer apps, no exciting technology jumps, just businessmen salivating at the prospect of fucking you with whatever machinations they've spawned from their board room meetings undoubtedly full of other cunts gleefully smiling as they mimic human mannerisms.

I'm getting a series S and gamepass day one I was getting a PS5 when Horizon 2 comes out but that's now available on ps4 so will hold off until God Of War which I can see being the first PS5 exclusive that gets me interested.

I have owned a few Nintendo consoles, a Ps2, Ps3, Xbox and Xbox one X though the one constant has always been the PC. For next gen I'll be upgrading my PC and will wait and see which console offers the best library of games. Sony has traditionally had the better exclusives imo however MS recent studio acquisitions are intriguing.

That being said with so many console "exclusives" eventuating to PC, the value of consoles continues to diminish in my eyes considering PC games will always look better, run faster and give every option when it comes to controls.

PC games don't really look much better these days. They may perform better at higher specs, though. Depends on how well optimized the game is and your rig.

For next gen the visual fidelity gap will definitely close initially, especially with consoles supporting ray tracing which will be nice. I'll still be able to run at higher frame rates though which is important for me when using mouse + kb controls.

PS5 seems the best for me.

But recent events has me at least considering a PC or Xbox down the line if those former Zenimax studios deliver (along with Ninja Theory , The Initiative , The Coalition , etc.). It's probably going to take 3-4 years to see the fruits of their labor and to see where things are headed.

I don't like Bethesda , and generic shooters are typically filler games for me .... but there may be potential in other genres - horror , stealth , action/adventure. Only time will tell.

Pretty much this, I really don't see the point if I've got a PC already. PS5 per-ordered already. Waiting for the after my holiday to get a 3080 if I can :( and the 4000 series. Have the rest prepared (570 mobo, 750watt psu, hardline pipes and fittings all waiting to be installed. Still need to get bender but probably will ask around, might get a larger SSD)

It's a toss between a new PC and XSX. PS5 and 4k Switch two years from now.
