1. Xbox's optical audio is built onto the cable assembly, laughable. Even more laughable is that you can't use the optical audio cable and hdmi at the same time. Even more laughable is a $60 cable assembly for the 360 to get what I can do with the ps3 out of the box with my existing cables. **ps3 not coming with HDMI much more laughable**
2. Xbox's headset plugs into controller, laughable and a wireless MS headset for the 360 is $60 laughable. **ps3 not coming with any set of headset, more laughable**
3. Non Rechargeable wireless controllers, laughable. Charge and play kit $20 laughable. Thats $70 for essentially what the ps3 has, which puts the ps3 controller at a $20 value over the 360 ones. **replacing unchargable ps3 controllers after few years, even more laughable**
4. 30% failure rate, laughable
5. avg rating of ps3 games 77%, avg rating of 360 games 74%. And that is not counting the recent flops of Too Human, and the Jrpg's that has been flopping. So quite possibly the avg rating of the 360 is prolly around 73 or 72% now. **top 10 exclusives for 360 at 88% while ps3's top 10 are 79%, no AAAE p3s less than 1/2 of AAE even more laughable**
6. ps3 has free online play, 360 you pay $50 a year for **updating firmware few times a season to fix problems, even more laughable**
7. 360 is only $50 cheaper and still has no hd player built in, so who's getting a better deal? **ps3 is a year younger and yet mulitplats look the same, extremely laughable since it should've been better right off the bat**
8. ps3 has DTSHD audio and DolbyDigitalHD audio, and up to 7.1 surround. 360 barely handles 5.1 DD if thats what the games use cause sound is so poorly in them. **none of ps3 games doesnt even support DTSHD nor DDHD **
9. Bluray disks are scratch resistant, which is handy. Once again a nice plus for games that you plan on keeping. **Blu-ray drive is so slow that, some games, you have to install it into the hard drive**
10. 360 ethernet 100mps, ps3's ethernet 1000mps. Neat little tid bit of info. Didn't know this til the other day lol. **yet ps3 doesn't support 1000mps, go figure**
11. Ps3 has a internet browser, 360 doesn't. **and 360 allows you to stream videos, music and pictures from a pc **
12. With 3rd party going multiplat Sony's ps3 is in the rocking chair with so many 1st party devs, and even 2nd party devs for true exclusives for the future. Microsofts 1st party devs is dismal to say the least. still sad about FF13?
13. Hence 360 gamers literally look forward to mulitplate games and bragg about them being better lol. So what, for the ps3 we got plenty of exclusives coming to make up for some poor dev work on multiplates. **zero exclusives that scored above 7.5 since MGS4 which was june :D**
14. Metacritics user review scores for 360 titles are always a 1 or 2 points lower than critic scores. While ps3 user review scores match critic scores. Hmmm **and MGS4 is sub 94%**
15. And lastly since I already had a ps3, and with only mulitplates and Gears2 that I was interested in for the 360 the 360 went back to the store.
16. I CAN play everything that I need to play between my ps3 and MY PC :) And I bet 360 owners can't say that hence why they like to discredit that oppinion or option we should say. Hence I'll be playing Left for Dead on my PC :) **hiding behind a PC?**
17. 360 SDdvd while the ps3 has Bluray, just had to make sure that one was in there some where. **yet, blu-ray doesn't improve games :) it's for storage**

Theres more but dang, the 360 makes it so easy to find things that are just laughable when thinking of a next gen system and what it should have or be capable of. And also its so easy for a good consumer to realise that the 360 isn't but a money pit. But dang that CHEAP lol price tag fools alot of people huh lol.

P.S. Well its not really cheap when comparing what you get with it. Its basically a GPU in a box.

cows please stop saying opinion this and opinion that. if you dont go by reviews which if you check metacritic + gamerankings, the ps3's AAA,AA,A library is an embarassment compared to the pc and 360, then you shouldn't even be on gamespot, a REVIEW site. there has to be some way to measure the quality of the content and even though most websites point to 360 games>ps3 games you still whip out the opinion card and bash 360 exclusives and say you've played them on your high end pc. of course you all have high end gaming rigs and 360 games are all overated compared to resistance and uncharted!mephisto_11

P.S. I think some lems call some of their exclusives that prolly with out a doubt would have been on a ps3 if it had came out a year earlier aswell. I have more than enough money to purchase a Wii, PS3 and Gaming PC with money left over for games.

I do not bash consoles to make myself feel better.

My parents don't control what I purchase with my money.

then why bash? there's no point to bashing unless you get some sort of satisfaction out of it. Just accept it, all four gaming choices have plenty of pros and cons, and I only own a 360.

very true. i used to own a 360, and now i own a ps3. they both have high and low points, but both are fun. really no point in saying one wins and one loses...

very well, then, if you don't like the game, that's certainly fair. it just bothers me when SW posters have never even tried a game/system and decide to hate it. :)
