As I said, Sony's Uncharted number was SHIPPED, not close to Gears SALES!

Uncahrted did not sell close to that 3.6 number Sony claimed. 700k on NPD. Any Sony faithful gonna tell me it sold nearly 2.3 mill "worldwide"?? They lied try to to inflate the number to Microsoft exclusive levels. By contrast when Gears sold 3 million worldwide the NPD showed 2 MILLION SOLD. Just like I thought....liars

Who cares about the sales Gears 3 was the better game and that's all that matters

I think they are pretty close to be honest. Playstation 3 games tend to sell similar numbers as xbox 360 in npd in europe so I would say that they can't be more than a million apart from each other first month.

Compared to N''s games sales both are slackingp4s2p0

Not sure who the Hell you guys are talking about but Im not your forza or face whatever. Check my post history. And to the person who said "dont you want to see a good game sell well?" I have no problem...if it actually sells well. Sony came out with all this bragging and boasting that Uncharted sold 3.8 million in one week. I said then that that was impossible. If it did it would of been the largest exclusive sales this entire generation. On and on Ps3 fans went with no common sense that this could not be true. Low and behold they did not break a million in the US, the largest market,yet you expect me to believe that it just sold 2.5 "elsewhere"? They tried to do that whole front page "Gears, Halo, COD," press release for a game that historically NEVER had those type of numbers. Thats why I said they lied..... and I knew it.

not all are dup accounts. Ive only started frequenting SW's the last couple of weeks myself. Avoided it before the TOU change, but now its worth my time lol. I have been modded for some lame stuff before they changed it, meaning SW's was pretty much of limits. So not every user that has shown up of late is a dup account, Mine certainly isnt :) lol at forzagearsface. BibiMaghoo

Okay good!This altaccount creation by certain users is confusing people resulting in them accusing the wrong people for creating alt accounts.Let's not get off topic anymore.

Sony can only track the amount that were shipped/sold TO retailers. They can't track how many copies were sold FROM retailers.

That right there debunks their "3.8 million sold" statement. However, Uncharted 3 has sold a little over 2 million copies worldwide so far.

But anyone who still believes U3 sold 3.8 million copies to consumers in one day should lay off the grass and hay.

Not that sales matter anyway, but it's sometimes fun to upset fanboys.
