As I said, Sony's Uncharted number was SHIPPED, not close to Gears SALES!

Sony can only track the amount that were shipped/sold TO retailers. They can't track how many copies were sold FROM retailers.

That right there debunks their "3.8 million sold" statement. However, Uncharted 3 has sold a little over 2 million copies worldwide so far.

But anyone who still believes U3 sold 3.8 million copies to consumers in one day should lay off the grass and hay.

Not that sales matter anyway, but it's sometimes fun to upset fanboys.

If this game truely sold 3.8 (nearly 4 mill) in one week it would of made it the biggest exclusive sales this entire generation. Bigger then Gears, Halo etc. Have you seen any of those articles.....ANYWHERE??? NO because its not true. Battlefield shipped 5 mill but sold close to 3.5 in its first week. Batman AKA shipped 5 mill and sold nearly2 across two platforms. This game SHIPPED 3.8 but less then 1 mill sold in the US (700K)?? leaving 3.1 million in sales that sold ....where exactly???? When Gears stated they SOLD 3 mill worldwide, it SOLD 2M on the NPD for that month. I'm sleeping fine with my exclusives. But you guys need to go support your system and stop coming on here with inflated numbers and claims of victory.

My last place console? Well, I've actually been liking their game output as of late, so no qualms. My Xbox on the otherhand has been my multiplatform as of late since Micrsoft seems to be hellbent on just alternating between Forza, Gears, and Halo.
