Well thats it so far... So whats the hype? Remember the first Assassins Creed received a 9/10 in 2007.

I can foresee a 9.5/10. If both the PS3 and 360 versions are equal of course. It might end up 9.5/9.0 if the PS3 is lacking. And the PC version will likely score 9.0/10 as well.

VanOrd loves his AC.

While I personally rated the first one a 7.5, I still felt it had some of the most potential of any game I have played this gen. Seeing as how AC II is an obvious improvement in every way, I fail to see how it can score lower than the first on did here. So, I think it will be an easy AAA at GS...and a deserving one this time around at that.

8.0-8.5 I will be shocked if it gets higher and not suprised if it gets lower. I can see UBI fluffing reviewers over this game however.

The UK Playstation Official Magazine gave the first an 80 and this one a 90. Sounds like an improvement.

Considering the potential the first one had and that this one is actually looking to live up to what many had hoped the first one would be, it is indeed quite odd that AC II is not getting any more attention. Some around here are just remaining skeptical, I suppose. Regardless, my copy will be delivered tomorrow and I know I am looking forward to it.

Well that was the first game. It was repetetive, but thats exactly what Ubi (supposedly) addressed. Also, I just dont realistically see the game going from a 9 to a 7 while fixing things.h575309

I'm not really sure on the score. I think it will either be 8.5 or 9. Even though this one is better than the first one (or supposed to be anyway), there is a chance that it will get a slightly lower score than Assassin's Creed 1 with 8.5. Reviewers are past the initial hype of an original game now that the sequel is out. I think it will be good enough for a 9 though :D

I really don't see how they could rate it lower than the first, so I think it's guaranteed AAA.

• Better background story for the hero? check.
• The protagonist can swim? check.
• Ezio gets wet just like Drake when getting in water? check.
• Variety of primary missions that are also alot of fun? check.
• Alot of side missions? check.
• Unlocking Secrets that improve your character? check.
• Italy is beautiful? check.
• No pointless and annoying poor people begging for you to give them money? check.
• Currency system ( buy weapons, yup weapons with an S, armors, medicine...etc? check.
• Desmond have more action than just walking in abstergo? check.
• Better music? check.

And more that I can't reveal since they are kinda spoilerific.
