Although I wouldn't be surprised if it got an 8.5NidgetDude what happend to your sig? :( You can ask that question to all the people who reported it :( Gotta find a new sig now, look after okenfold for me (until the mods strip him away from you too) I didn't report it, but it is one of the most annoying things I have ever seen. I skipped every one of your posts so I didn't have to see it. Now I will read them.

[QUOTE="HAZE-Unit"]No pointless and annoying poor people begging for you to give them money? check.nervmeisterI'll admit though, I'm kind of gonna miss the poor people and lepers who have been the outlets of my rage many a occasion. Hell, I think they could reintroduce them into the series, so long as the police don't get sicced on you simply for hitting them.
I got the chance of meeting some annoying people today so get your hopes up :P

Well thats freakin awesome if its true.
I hope not since I got the PS3 version and I didn't know about demo voucher earlier :P
AAA, just like the original. I expect this to be my Game of the Generation, like the first is right now. Can't wait for tomorrow!
AAA, especially if the mission vareity is better. That was really the only negative about the original.

Primary missions are varied since the progress of the story and the story itself is different so you will be surprised from the first session with the game.
I'm going to shoot for the moon and say 9.5.
The first one got a 9.0 and this one looks better in every conceivable way. I will also be on the lookout for IGN's review seeing as how I agreed with their score for the first.
I'm a little disappointed though because I pre-ordered ACII from Amazon and they say it won't get to me until December 2nd at the earliest.
I might have to pick up Bloodlines in the meantime to tide me over. I have high hopes for that one as well.
The first one was good for the first 3 kills (one in each city) and then the game should've wrapped up from there with the final sequence of *spoiler*
That whole epic ride through the forest fighting guards and eventually the final showdown.
All the kills inbetween were repetitive. I'm looking forward to the game if Ubisoft can eliminate all these repetition issues.
An A, like the first one (should have).Jandurin
Come on lets not judge judge this one on the first. IGN the site which imo gave the more sensible score for the game 7. something says it blows teh first out the water cause it fixes alot of things.
I agree. I really liked the first one, but it definitely was repetetive. I just liked the story, art style, and theme of the game enough to play all the way through. Agreed. though admitteddly I have yet to finish the first. Got severely hung up on an Assassination and gave up for a while after I tried and failed some 30 times. The final in I think Jerusalem (the guy on the boats) No matter what I try I either can't kill the dude or i kill him and I end up dieing when I try to get back to the Guild. AAA for me btwAAA all the way, 9.5.

I don't see the Demo happening, but it would be awesome. Demo's take a LOT of work to produce, and what we usually get is E3 or trade show demo's when we play these demo's. While I hope that's the case, I don't think it's going to happen. Still, fingers crossed. :)
I'd say a 9.0. The only problem I haven't seen addressed is the game's heavy reliance on 1-hit-kill counter-attacks.
I vote AAA because I know that's what all the paid off critics will give it, but in reality it will be no better than 6.5.paullywoglolUmad?
but serioulsy why post that?

I worded it wrong, lets just say it's rumors :P
We need someone who bought the game to confirm or deny.
EDIT: Ok I found another site reporting this.
Rumors have been suggesting that customers who buyAssassin's Creed II, will receive an exclusive demo forSplinter Cell: Conviction, for theXbox 360. The rumors started to appear thanks to a video from theHipHopGamerand a post from aNeoGAFuser. The game comes with a card that includes a URL and a code which gives the customer the chance to download a freebie. Right away people started to think that the game is coming with the demo. If that is what you are hoping, then please by all means stop.
We received a picture of this so-called voucher, and from what we can tell — it's not an exclusive demo for the next Sam Fisher title. It doesn't say anything about a demo nor does it even suggest a tease for the game will be available if you purchase Assassin's Creed II. If you read the card, it tells you to "go to the URL, then "enter your key code," from there you'll "receive [a]free instant download." This sounds like nothing more than a free wallpaper or something similar.

[QUOTE="darkmoney52"]I seem to recall reading someplace that that had been adressed. Think it was in the Game Informer review I hope you're right, that would make the game just about perfect in my book.I'd say a 9.0. The only problem I haven't seen addressed is the game's heavy reliance on 1-hit-kill counter-attacks.

It appears as if it got a 9.0 here.

Versions seem pretty eqal, Kevin stated 360 is superior in mah thread. But I guess The PS3 version isn't AS bad as it could be.
Ehh it's ok, H575309 made this thread days before me, so it's all good.I like how the first person to post the review got his thread locked.. when he was first before this was restickied
ugh.. so many games i want to play.. U2, AC2, Brutal Legends, Borderlands, SLFJS:F..expanded
Is there any word on how long the game is?Couth_18 hours. 20 if you take your time. Even more if you do all the side stuff. It's an action game that exceeds 6 hours. Yahoo!
