Thank jesus they got rid of that. Honestly that f*ckery had no place in Revelations. :|
I didn't even play that long.My brother bought it on his ps3 so I played it a little bit.Did not like that minigame."Den Defense will not return."

My thought exactly.
"Settings will include Boston, New York and a large countryside. The countryside will be the setting of about 1/3 of the game, and will be the location of many events during the game. The countryside will be about 1.5 times as big as Rome in Brotherhood."
Looks like the map will be massive.
Great info, but I just can't get it. I haven't even beaten Brotherhood yet lol. Guess I kinda lost interests in series which is funny because ACII is the only PS3 game I platinum lol. Maybe I should go back and finish Brotherhood.

The game's a mess and the only thing going for it was the online system which was legit.
Revelations was really that bad. Don't know why Ubi even lefted AC to developed by other teams and not by Montreal.
And even in terms of story line, it wasn't that brilliant like Brotherhood or AC2.
Its just a rehashed Brotherhood minus Horse riding.

Yeah,I didn't hear a lot of good things about it.I'm waiting 'til they drop the price because I just want to know what's going to happen.I played them all,so I want to play this too.Great info, but I just can't get it. Was it really bad in Revelations?
Chyeah mayne. Like really, really bad. :?
It was a random addition that added nothing to the AC formula.
[QUOTE="tonitorsi"]Go Canada :) The game also looks to be taking some ideas from Red Dead in a way with wild life. The country side is bigger than Rome :OThis is going ot be the best Assassins Creed game.
Leave it to Ubisoft Montreal to do just that. :D
iammason
Coolio. :D
I always wanted the implementation of an animal ecosystem like Rockstar crafted with RDR, inside the AC universe. And taking ideas from R* is the greatest thing Montreal ever did.
These guys know how to make an Assassin's Creed game. AC2 was just phenomenal.

It is developed by Ubi Montreal. And I found Revelations far better than Brotherhood in terms of story. And the art direction was miles better than Brotherhood too. Revelation is a great game. They should implement cougars in AC3 that kill you instantly and scare the crap out of you.Great info, but I just can't get it. I haven't even beaten Brotherhood yet lol. It was optional at one point but in general Revelation was uninteresting.

It is developed by Ubi Montreal. And I found Revelations far better than Brotherhood in terms of story. And the art direction was miles better than Brotherhood too. Revelation is a great game. Just not as good as AC2 or ACBRevelation was made by a gargantuan team of different international developers.
It says it all in the opening credits of Revelations, its made by Ubisoft Quebec...and etc, etc.
All these developers were adding random ass gameplay features that refracted the experience of Assassins Creed. The talented hands behind AC2 however, were occupied making AC3 for 3 straight years.
I agree about art direction, but in the end, Revelations was a big letdown.
can't wait, i love ezio and he's my boy and all but after I get around to beating brotherhood i'm skipping revelations and just going to be prepared for the third installment.
it seems like philadelphia should have been a city, but w/e. assuming the wilderness works like an overworld, i think the trees could add the vertical layers that were lacking in AC's overworld.
the series is one i always want to like but i just havent jumped back in after my experience with the original. i had a similar position with ACII, but maybe ill check it out if they release some good solid news on the stealth, combat, and their interaction.
wow all this seems really cool. Iv enjoyed all the AC game....well execpt 1 and still want to play revalations. This will proboly be day 1 buy cause I really want to try a new timeline.
Judging by what I've seen and what we know so far, this may be the first AC game that I buy.
I borrowed the other two numbered ACs and felt they were mediocre. Brotherhood had some decent multiplayer though. :o
revelations is in 3d, and it just went down to 29.99 today sale i guess. i havent opened brotherhood yet but im still getting this today or soon hopefullycan't wait, i love ezio and he's my boy and all but after I get around to beating brotherhood i'm skipping revelations and just going to be prepared for the third installment.

Probably :P... I only played two of them though, but they seemed a lot less tactical than a real TD game due to the limited geometry. That's awesome!
And thank GOD its different. I was reading through it, getting pretty pumped, so I'm surprised everyone is excited about the change. I mean, we have three games that are like Assassin's Creed 2. Looks very refreshing, I can't wait to see what they come up with.

It really wasn't. You only had to do it once, then as long as you kept your Templar awareness from getting full, you never had to do it again. I had to intentionally fill my awareness a few times just to get den defenses to finish the Assassin's checklist. The den defense was just a diversion from the other gameplay, nothing more.
The only big issue I had with Revelations was a bug where I stopped receiving income at the bank. It made buying books and landmarks completely worthless and really soured my experience. I'm not sure if that bug has ever been fixed.

Most of the random features were optional. AC2 was a big project with many studios as well. Please Log In to post.
