Makes you sound like a complete tool. Please continue...
PC does have generations but they rely on more factors and can be classified in many classes and subclasses alike consoles that only have generations when a new console line is released.
Have never occurred to you that Pentium 1, 2, 3, 4, Dual Core, Core 2 Duo, i7s kinda represent generations on PC. Or DirectX 9, 10, 11. Or 32bits, 64 bits. Or CDROM, DVDROM. Usually the PC newest hardware and software is all inclusive and maintain backward compatibility. If, according to you, PC doesn't have generations, then I welcome you to play any modern game on Pentium 2, or to play a DirectX11 game on a DirectX9/10 gpu, or 64 bit Software on a 32bit OS. Even console generations may be applied to PC, as they are usually taken as lowest hardware denominator when developing multiplats. There is a strict definitions what is a generation for consoles, but there is no such thing for PC, I mean, there is no definition for PC, but it doesn't mean that they don't exist on PC, they are just very flexible and multiple. On PC you may have hardware and software generations that can act completely independent from each other,
PS. No need to be an asshole. Not cool.
