He doesn't understand Fail States. This is nothing, really, He should play a game that has no death state but is challenging enough to stop you from moving foward.... That is a also fail state. In a sense that you failed to clear the obstacle. You essentially come into it in a fail state already and turn it into a win.

Wait what? Some one can actually die in Assassins Creed? There is a very remote chance of failing to tail someone or shit like that but dieing? O_o

Indeed. I'm totally freaking out about those graphics, they look totally beast! I'm not a graphics whore, but dammnnnn, Unity looks incredible.....
I'm going with AA as well.
Some guy on Neogaf already has the PC version and is reporting better performance than AC Black Flag on ultra with FXAA and PCSS disabled (PCSS = New Nvidia shadow tech)
55-60 fps in freeroam, only the cutscenes are lower than that, but the Day 1 patch is supposed to fix that.
His rig: 780 GTX, i7 2600k at 3,5 GHz

Is preload available on UPlay for NA yet? I redeemed the code through nvidia's Pick Your Path offer and Unity is in my library as a pre-order, but I don't see an option to preload anywhere.
I know preloading is live for Steam. I definitely don't want to download 40GB tomorrow :(

I take back what I said about there being a downgrade. The console versions look like shit but the PC version looks great. Hair looks weird and there's some ugly aliasing present but those screens look incredible.
I don't know what's up with that doorknob in the fourth pic from the bottom though...
GameSpot has posted an article that states that the review for Assassin's Creed Unity will be released at 9 a.m. PST on Tuesday, while Rogue's review will be released in the next few days.

It'll probably score AA, but sign me up for AAA. I haven't played an AC game since the first one which was ok but had so much unfulfilled potential. Unity seems to finally live up to the original promise, so I'm hopeful.
Watched some gameplay videos, I haven't seen pop-in this bad since Driver. Hitman Blood Money did hundreds of NPCs better as well and that's from 2006. What a joke.

Yep the pop in and draw distance is terrible on all platforms. wtf did Ubisoft do

The grass rendering distance is a complete joke.
