Attention Cows: "Just Wait" is still not over

Face it MGS4 is still in the 92's at gamerankings, PSN has no support compared to xbl and all the mega hyped games like GT5, LBP and GOWIII are still a long way off. If you bought a PS3 at launch you are still waiting for some good exclusives to kick in.

Honestly, aren't you guys mad with what you got relative to what sony promised you? You were promised a system with twice the power of the 360, and what you got is one with inferior multiplats. You were promised a playstation, the brand that always kills the competition each gen. Instead every cow is just going into denial about GS scores being the only ones that matter to them.

Uncharted was your best game of 2007 and its about as bland and derivative as they come. If I were a sony fan I would be mad, I wouldn't be defending sony's every move.

I'm not mad I'm just waiting for exclusives to come, there's like 3 I'm interested in this year and 4 or 5 next year, I don't mind waiting. I have MGS4 and Cod4 to hold me off until Oct :P

The same can be said to you. What happened to gamerankings scores are more important, like we had last november. I've always believed in that.

I'm pretty confident that before this gen is over I won't regret paying $500 for a PS3 (not that I do now I'm just saying). If I do though, I'm gonna give the xbox 720 (or whatever)a go.

Yeah Cows still have to "just wait" for GT5, LBP, FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, Tekken 6, Infamous, Yakuza 3, Resistance 2. New Twisted Metal, GOW 3, White Knight, Zone of the Enders 3, Motorstorm 2, Killzone 2 and maybe a few others.EnergyAbsorber

:lol: Doesn't bother me much at all, LBP comes in Oct. that's 4 months from now. Two months is summer and one month is September which I'll be playing Spore during. So I'm covered :)

I'd rather have MGS4 than all the 360 AAAs by a landslide. Of course, my two fav 360 games (Eternal Sonata and Dead Rising) weren't even AAA anyways...

Luckily, I have both systems and aside from MGS4 360 still has the best library by a wide margin imo.

I know it existed, but i was saying that to me it didn't exist. I've never been in a phase with my PS3 where i've been waiting for a good game, and i think the same would have applied if i had gotten one at launch. I've always considered the PS3 to have good games.

How was the ps3 a big failure?? Just because a few people on SW thinks the ps3 has no games doesnt make it a failure because guess what, the others actually think those games are great. I own all three consoles and to be honest, not one of them are failures. And by the way, just wait never exsisted to me. Only thing I was EVER waiting for was MGS4.

Ok then, let's see.

Halo 3 is the Xbox360's biggest game and #1 franchise, yet -- it's a mere 93% at gamerankings. How do you overlook this and yet still criticize MGS4 (which is no where near the biggest PS franchise) for achieving a 92%? PSN has a lot of support if you haven't noticed from all the updates and news going around -- it's also free, and it works -- why complain?

It did get a slow start, but the people buying them knew that. You fail to realize that a lot of people enjoy their PS3 because of its exclusives (uncharted, and ratchet were both rated highly and sold well, as well as Resistance and Warhawk). You said their exclusives are nothing special as if a fact -- which is why you are narrow-minded.

I think any PS3 owner would be willing a wait a long time for their exclusives if they all turned out with the quality of MGS4. While Xbox360 and Wii have already exhausted nearly all their big name franchises.

I'm happy to see Nintendo back on top, and it's unfortunate that the 360 wasn't able to hold it's position, but I suppose thats what happens when you go from having no competition to great competition. PS3 still a lot big hit exclusives coming (which all look fantastic) is a force to be reckoned with, as NPD results show. It's also a blu-ray player if you forgot.

The PS3 is not a failure in it's own right. It feels like one, though to anyone who's been here long enough (a whole 2 years, a lifetime I know) to remember the Cow gloating and promises and cheers and mooing, and... well, you get the point. And in that regard, the come-uppance is pronounced, and satisfying.

They promised an unparalleled shock and awe experience that would be lightyears ahead of the 360 and Wii. Well, you know what? No shock. No awe. Essentially a remarkably similar experience to the competition, and in some respects behind the competition. There is the failure, blame it on who you will.

Yeah I got mine from best buy, it RRODed once I took it in and they gave me a new system and 50 bucks, I was playing gears that same night.

Yea I know what you are saying, but those people are fanboys. They dont know what they are talking about. I knew exactly what I was getting when I bought the ps3. A blu-ray player, Graphics that are equal to the 360(potential to be better) and great exclusives. I mean, MGS4,Uncharted,RAC,WarHawk,Resistance,HS,Folklore,NGS are all great games in my mind. Im not the type of gamer where everything on one console has to be better then everything on the other consoles. i enjoy games and ps3 has fulfilled that need. The 360 and the Wii have as well. I bought all three because of the exclusives they have to offer.

Are the Oakland Raiders a good team? They are all pros, but they are worse than their competition.
