Please stop this now. Your best argument is "who knows" like its a mystery or something? Let me spell it out for you. Sony DOMINATED last gen, and thus had the biggest fanbase. Their new console came, and barely outsold the xbox 360, and didn't outsell it during the holiday season. Millions of PS2 owners bought it on future potential, and now it has a library vastly inferior to xbox 360s and people are still waiting for that potential to be fulfilled. If your only argument is that the ps3s might be better, "who knows" I think this argument is over.

Halo 3 is the Xbox360's biggest game and #1 franchise, yet -- it's a mere 93% at gamerankings. How do you overlook this and yet still criticize MGS4 (which is no where near the biggest PS franchise) for achieving a 92%? PSN has a lot of support if you haven't noticed from all the updates and news going around -- it's also free, and it works -- why complain?

It did get a slow start, but the people buying them knew that. You fail to realize that a lot of people enjoy their PS3 because of its exclusives (uncharted, and ratchet were both rated highly and sold well, as well as Resistance and Warhawk). You said their exclusives are nothing special as if a fact -- which is why you are narrow-minded.

I think any PS3 owner would be willing a wait a long time for their exclusives if they all turned out with the quality of MGS4. While Xbox360 and Wii have already exhausted nearly all their big name franchises.

I'm happy to see Nintendo back on top, and it's unfortunate that the 360 wasn't able to hold it's position, but I suppose thats what happens when you go from having no competition to great competition. PS3 still a lot big hit exclusives coming (which all look fantastic) is a force to be reckoned with, as NPD results show. It's also a blu-ray player if you forgot.

which one sold more? which one sold more consoles? halo 3 I was a huge playstation fanboy last gen, then i saw ps3 price tag and couldnt afford it and I was going to wait untill I had some money but I saw a game called halo and a game called gears so I bought a 360 and have never regreted it. the only reason I would buy a ps3 is for MGS4 but I'll just barrow my friends so I dont have to pay a couple hundred for one game

- Uncharted

- COD4

- GT5: Prologue

- Ridge Racer 7.

Other games laying around, that I can't play, because there are only so many hours in one day:

- Battlefield Bad Company

- Burnout

- Metal Gear Solid 4

- A whole host of PS2 games, that never appeared on the Xbox, because it sucked and failed, which are in a way, exclusive

- Motorstorm

- Fifa 08

- Blu-Ray movies, which sadly will never appear on the 360.

There are tons of good games that came out for the PS3 not just HS. Also, try not to embarrass lemmings here by mentioning the 360's worldwide sales cap on 2007 compared to the PS3's....; it'll hurt them.
