the PVP matchmaking system has me excited. I spent so much time trying to summon my friends into my world. I would be nice if I could just select their name and bring them in

You know,this whole thing reminds me of Loosey trying to claim ownage by saying the 360 version of TW2 was getting exclusive content when the PC version is in fact getting the exact same thing day 1,and now it´s Dark Souls,a game that he praises so much and bashed the PC for not having it is now coming to the PC with a ton of content apparently actually exclusive to the PC version! :o

GFWL is fine. Stop crying. It's just extra software. Everyone always cries when there's something extra. It happened with Steam, it happened with Origin and it happened with GFWL.

I'm pretty sure LoosingEnds is happy it is coming to PC. As a huge Dark Souls fan he should be glad more people get to enjoy it. Oh yeah,I´m sure he´s really happy with that. >.>

I'm pretty sure LoosingEnds is happy it is coming to PC. As a huge Dark Souls fan he should be glad more people get to enjoy it. He was only a fan of the game because it was on the 360 and not the PC. Just like he only started getting interested in Witcher 2 when he thought the 360 version was getting exclusive content

GFWL isn't terrible anymore. It had it's period of sucking, just like Steam did, but it works fine now. If people aren't going to buy it because of GFWL that's just sad.
So there's more than 2 bosses? Sweeeeeeet. :D I can't wait to hear how much content they're adding, but they definitely should release it for consoles down the line.

As someone who plays gears MP everyday.. GFWL is still a major problem:?
Expect plenty of:
disconnections
CTD
lost saves
Everyone of my gears friends, including myself, is afraid of opening GFWL while playing because of the chance of crashing... thats how bad it is.
GFWL... Well... ... i was looking forward to buying this game kinda like "shut up and take my money"... And then they add GFWL ... I guess they dont want my money =/
Why does the game have to come out a week before I'll be going back to school? Also, I don't mind GFWL after I've been using it for Arkham City. You don't need an extra client, and I'm sure the game will still be offered through Steam like Arkham City is.

It sure lasted a LOT longer than it was going to. Well this just gives me more incentive to finish my 2nd playthrough before it's too late. Just got done with Flamelurker.
ouch, swing and a miss. I guess using GFWL can be forgivable considering they originally didn't have plans for a PC version in the first place. They're probably just ignorant of PC gaming in general.
Maybe because it will be actually playable with no FPS drops? Or full HD and above? ;)

Of course the framrate will be better on high-end systems. So those few gamers won't suffer through a handful of annoying framerate dips. It's not like the game, in its current state, is nearly unplayable on consoles. It's not without flaws, but they certainly don't detract from the experience. It's not going to be a very different experience. Enough for me to get it again on PC this time. With new environments, new enemies, new bosses, new PVP mechanics etc.
YES! I actually held off on buying Dark Souls for my 360 because I just had too many games to play for my PC. Now this baby gets to run on my PC! The PC gods knew it was coming and whispered for me to wait. I know it!
