Reminds me of horribly generic games like Doom 3.
Wow!! Did you see how realistic the animation was of the little girl... and how she moved the things behind her as she backed up with the lighting all changing based on her movements!! The gameplay is unreal... I'll probably pick this up on my 360 instead of on my PC because I want to play this game on a 50" screen with a nice big sound system.
This video is way old, though I think this is the first time it's been available online for everyone to see. I definitely remember reading about it in a magazine around 4-6 months ago (either PC Gamer or CGW), and they gave the sequence of events during the article and it exactly matches this video. Impressive to see it in person, though.

That was BRILLIANT. Especially the ending...the way the girl crawled back was completely chilling and creepy. I love the art direction and the graphics are incredible. I have wanted this game for a while, but after seeing that this is on my must-buy list. Â

how funny. the last post I read expresses my feelings almost exactly. Though I wouldn't say "amazing". I would say "great" But the graphics in this game are nothing terribly special. But I never was too big of fan for the whole "American Mcgee's Alice" style. Except the Cheshire Cat. He was awesome. Also, it is, by technical definition, an FPS. Its first person, and a shooter (IE, you shoot guns, rather than swing swords). But it's more of a horror FPS. like FEAR, only totaly different style/setting. I dunno what I'm trying to get at, outside of, it looks like a great game for those into this style of game. But I honestly couldn't see myself paying $60 for this, despite what consoles it will be on. Now fanboys, commence the "OMG he doesn't think it is the best thing since sliced bread, he MUST be a jealous fanboy." drivel.

Too bad that was running on a PC. 360 version got delayed, devs needed more time to optimize it on 360 which is lagging behind PC version. Then why does the video say "Press Start" on the menu screen. is there a "Press Start" button on the PC? There can be, yeah. Depends on the game.

Never played PsiOps. I heard it wasn't that great, but I also heard it wasn't terrible either. The telekinesis reminds me a little of the matrix. I also dig the look and sounds of the Big Daddies. The whole thing with the little girls thing though... I mean, I'm as sick and twisted as the next guy, but to me, thats ... "approaching" the line. Oh, and as a LOT of people have said before me, the water effects in this game are the best I've seen in an FPS.
There is only one thing I hate, it will be delayed ages in EU. Some games come out here only a few days or a week after it does in America, why can't this game follow that?

The behaviors you see when the people mumble to themselves and tosses stuff at you, that's awesome. See Condemned. I was expecting more of that kind of enemies, only more awesome. As in giving you the impression of being real people that suffered a tragic fate and lost part of their humanity with the abuse of Adam, rather than random hobos. Fireballtossing just seems out of place to me.
This is the only, criticism I can come up with. And it is a personal preference apparently. Everything else is the most awesomely awesome that has ever been awesome in the history of awesome. Awesome.
