Bad news for MP3:C's score?

I just used the word "flop" to mean they don't score it 9.0 or above. If they score it 8.0 or 8.5 I'd like to see legitimate justification in the review. Sorry that I used System Wars language. :P

From everything we've heard about the game it seems like it's a game worthy of AAA status. If GS scores the game 8.0 or 8.5 I would like to see, in some form, a reason it doesn't deserve a 9.0 or 9.5.

It wouldn't surprise me if Jeff said something like, "This easily would have been the greatest game ever if (insert random meaningless thing here) was better. 8.5 since I can't give 8.9 anymore!"MrDziekuje

Jeff is being a bit of a jerk with all the reviews. When's the last time a reviewer besides Jeff and Alex reviewed a high priority game. Jeff got all of them, basically. From Prey to Zelda to Gears to Bioshock to VF5. Seriously...DivergeUnify

I'm thinking it will be 1up, due to that horrible preview they put up. Gamespot hasn't really given any indication to the score they will give. However, I could be wrong and GS could flop the hell outta the game.

Now that I've listened to that part of the podcast, it's debateable whether or not they are talking about Gamespot... or even any specific competitor for that matter. I think they said that with thoughts of Gamespot, but Bozon mentioned the "8.8 or 8.9" thing very casually, as if he actually meant it. He wouldn't say that regarding Gamespot if he knows Gamespot doesn't have that review system anymore. My guess is that they were just judging based on previous games like BioShock, which Gamespot was one of the few to give it below a 9.5 or a 10.REVOLUTIONfreak

I think they are basing it off of other games they have reviewed and the preview for MP3, which I'm sure they read. However, they may not even be talking about GS at all.

No. System Wars would implode. A Angry Mob would be sitting right in front of the GS building. Lets hope Jeff hae and/or the reviewer know martial arts, because it's not going to be pretty. Notice how I said "And/Or". Jeff is most like to get attacked because of how he review high profile games. I would definitely hate to be in Jeff's shoes..

No it's just a blank statment... someone will give it 8.5 im sure... But then again OoT didn't get perfect reviews everwere either...

Sincerely, I will be surprise if it get an 8.5 since the controlls are really the best on any console to date. I could see it getting a 9 easily.
