while i accept that using a 360 controller is perfectly possible with PC, the option of an inferior KB/M setup doesnt in any way make it better.

There are tons of games that are 30 FPS on console and 60 FPS on PC, some games that makes a HUGE difference in performance.

Go try playing TF2 on ps3 or xbox360 and then on PC, the difference is crazy.

most the time its not just 2-3 FPS boost, its sometimes DOUBLE that of consoles or more.

Even if this game was played at the same graphics level as the consoles the PC version is still superior because the mouse/keyboard controls for this game are so incredibly smooth! Honestly when I tried to play through with a controller it was like a night/day difference like FPS gaming is on controllers in comparison to keyboard/mouse.

I'll be buying this for my PC. I wouldn't even consider the console version if it was half the price.

The game plays fine with mouse and keyboard yes this game will have controller support the first one did too and to be honest I played terrible with the controller.

Disregarding the textures and framerate, I absolutely love PhysX effects. Anything that makes a game-world feel less sterile and and static is a must for me. While playing through Arkham Asylum on my PS3 I found myself missing that extra level of interactivity that I got with the PC version. It seemed small at first but once it was gone it became all the more noticeable. Similar with Alice.

Lemm - Are you kidding me? 99% of the multiplat games look much better and even play better on 360 because of the 1337 controller and better hardware.
Cow - but still 360 has less exclusives than PS3. Tell me how many AAA exclusive are there on 360 (even if the lemm provides all numbers which are greater than ps3, the cow goes). That's not even right that " game " was flop and everyone knows it.

I'm looking forward to seeing PhysX in this game. They did a good job of putting PhysX in Arkham Asylum. It has some of the best use of PhysX and really added to the game.

Hermists: Perhaps, but the vast majority of multiplats are on PC as well, and PC is getting more focus as the generation goes on with more and more games having special attention paid to the PC version over the console Battlefield 3, Deus Ex HR, Metro Last Light, Skyrim, RAGE, etc; All have extra stuff for PC from mod tools to more players, to a massive gap in graphics. Sure they are lots of multiplats, but the PC is the version that gets the special features and extras that the consoles miss out on.

Lemmings/Cows: Well what about exclusive games?

Hermits: PC still has lots of those. Red Orchestra 2, Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, FireFall, Trackmania 2, Star Craft 2 HotS, DOTA 2, Hard Reset for example. And in the indie/obsucure catagorty the PC absolutely steamrolls the consoles with unequalled ease.

Lemm - Are you kidding me? 99% of the multiplat games look much better and even play better on 360 because of the 1337 controller and better hardware.
Cow - but still 360 has less exclusives than PS3. Tell me how many AAA exclusive are there on 360 (even if the lemm provides all numbers which are greater than ps3, the cow goes). That's not even right that " game " was flop and everyone knows it.

Here's what I observed when talking about AAA games:

Lemmings/Cows: We've got more AAA games than you guys do.

Hermits: The PC has more A & AA games than all of the consoles combined *links to google spreadsheet*

Lemmings/Cows: No, I was talking about AAA games. From companies like Rockstar, Epic, etc. Also, consoles are the main market for multiplat developers like Bethesda, BioWare, and Crytek now too. More and more developers are starting to focus on consoles now.

Hermits: We've got Blizzard, Valve and CDProjekt. Never mind games like Minecraft or Terraria.

Lemmings/Cows: Valve & CDProjekt aren't even PC exclusive developers. And I was talking about core games, CORE GAMES! You do know what that means, right?

Hermits: Indie, obscure titles.

Lemmings/Cows: A-A-A

Hermits: A/AA

Lemmings/Cows: S-K-Y-R-I-M

Here is how this conversation would actually have went, not how it went in your mind:

Hermists: Perhaps, but the vast majority of multiplats are on PC as well, and PC is getting more focus as the generation goes on with more and more games having special attention paid to the PC version over the console Battlefield 3, Deus Ex HR, Metro Last Light, Skyrim, RAGE, etc; All have extra stuff for PC from mod tools to more players, to a massive gap in graphics. Sure they are lots of multiplats, but the PC is the version that gets the special features and extras that the consoles miss out on.

Lemmings/Cows: Well what about exclusive games?

Hermits: PC still has lots of those. Red Orchestra 2, Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, FireFall, Trackmania 2, Star Craft 2 HotS, DOTA 2, Hard Reset for example. And in the indie/obsucure catagorty the PC absolutely steamrolls the consoles with unequalled ease.

The PC has more AAA games since when? Don't tell me you're pulling crap out of the 90's.

And isn't FireFall F2p?
