If it had German vs Russian maps too... I would say yeah... But it's just 3 maps and 1 locked one. Would get really old playing 3-4 maps over and over again.

There's a time to actually start crying foul of a game that's dumbing down a franchise. This would have been fine with, say, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Call of Duty 4, the new Operation Flashpoint etc. etc. This is not one of those times. This is a bloody DLC game.
yeah, waiting for the PC version to hit. Downloaded both demos to give them a try, definately want more players, and hopefully the PC version delivers.

Ironic you support CoD4 then... I don't support COD. IMO COD has always been a joke. Battlefield on the other hand has been a great franchise that made a u-turn and drove off the mountain with the release of Bad Company.

Hey speak for yourself buddy, i have been playing battlefield games since 1942, i own every battlefield game and its expansions(even though the expansions suck), except the first console one on the ps2. I loved bad company and 1943 is just as good. They arent as good as say battlefield 2, but they bring the great shooting mechanics and gameplay with some good destruction while only leaving behind the larger battles and squad/commander system.
played 30 games alrdy, and great game....if you like to camp, people camp for planes, and air raids, so there is always someone who stands infront of the air raid door, though the whole game, makes you wish friendly fire was off

Dude, 2142 was still helllllla fun. I loved how the maps were in stages, with the final battles taking place on the mother ships. Definitely not a upgrade from 2142, no way.

Because you're too "hard core" for any "watered down console shooter", am I right? I'm sorry to hear you will be missing out on this great game. It's like reliving my favorite memories from 1942 for me. :D
I found it very boring, I got the trial version and was in a game, I think it was full or almost full. I went on the boat to the island, then drove to a flag, no one there, drove to the next, same thing again. Finally after about 5 min of walking/driving I got to engage two enemies and a tank. I did enjoy the aircrafts though. This would be a great game if it had more players. Oh well.

For a quick buck. I don't think I'll ever forgive Slant Six destroy SOCOM. We could have finally had a good third person shooter this gen. Instead, we witnessed the death of Sony's true great shooter franchise. Slant Six did do one thing good though. They gave proof that you cannot take developer diaries seriously. I know I won't anymore..

That's what the medic/support class was primarily for. Here, everyone has automatic regenerating health.
