Bayonetta is the better action game than God of War 3.

The 360 version of Bayonetta is superior.

But aside from Graphics Bayonetta is better than God of War 3. God of War 3 removes alot of the adventure elements and goes for action... Which normally would be fine except the combat system is amatuerish in comparison to Bayonetta.

Bayonetta has a better story.

The first GoW was pretty good but in 2 the character of Kratos got old (why did he not change at all and still acts like he has a tree up his @$$?). Bayonetta does not take itself serious and is better in the sense it does not attempt melodrama.

The combo system and amount of weapons is leagues above God of War 3. If God of War 3 was multiplat it would not receive its critical acclaim.

I liked Bayonetta more tbh. Btw, it's propably been patched, since my hermit eyes couldn't detect all of the visual issues the game was said to have at launch. An excellent game, which oozed with style, killed by stupid QTEs.

TC is really trying to get us to hate God of War.

I mean, its a nice opinion, but saying stuff doesn't make it true you know. I could say cats aren't evil devil spawn, but it wouldn't change the fact that cats are evil and want to steal and consume your soul.

Bayonetta definitely has better gameplay. But story? You gotta share whatever you're smoking with the rest of us.

i liked it more than God of War 3. But i liked the boss battles in GOW 3 more.

It is a much better all around experience than God of War and higher rated on GS.

There's your problem right there. Nobody, and I mean nobody, plays God of War for the flat, one dimensional story.

The GoW games have excellent combat. Being easy to get into doesn't remove depth. Quite frankly, not playing GoW as anything more than a button masher shows something wrong with you, not the game.

This is especially true in III. The combat has a lot of depth with the additions they implemented. Mid combo weapon switching adds a lot of new stuff to the game on its own.
