I remember playing bayonetta and it being so fast and fluid. Then I went back to play it and it was not. The button press didn't correspond with a move (like it took a microsecond for the move to register and felt sluggish, x360) and I hatted how moves would just hapopen after pressing a button three times. I prefer GOW3 more, but that game you could beat by just pressing square square triangle the entire time. And I hate how bayonetta looks in general, ew. DMC3 beats all in my opinion though.

It's not, Demons Souls is a action RPG, or you could call it a hack 'n slash RPG, Bayonetta is a hack 'n slash - action game. There's no problem if you prefer Demons Souls over it, they are very different games which focus on different things.

Well in the genre I weigh gameplay way higher than anything else and Bayonetta certainly has better gameplay than GoW3

You could've picked something more worthy because GOW3 flatout sucks and is the worst GOW in the universe.

The gameplay of GoW3 is so terrible it makes it virtually not worth playing as a game so yes Bayonetta is in a league far beyond any GoW game and they really shouldn't be compared. It's like comparing a A grade GAME and a B grade MOVIE.

I just wonder what exactly people expected from Bayonetta's story, lol. It should have been pretty obvious at just looking of images of the game that the game would not be taken seriously. The story in Bayonetta was just meant to be quirky, silly, and over the top, and that's exactly how it ended up, a quirky, silly, over the top game. *shrug*

Combat - Bayonetta > GOW Story, Characters, Graphics, Voice Acting, Set Pieces - GOW > BayonettaFlamesOfGrey

I thought its agreed on already that Bayonetta only has good fluid combat, nothing else more.
And nothing makes it stand out either.

is not a "eww naked girl! keep them away from me!" mentality, its a "wow this game is so lame they had to sexualize it all around just to get it to be popular", games like those deserve no respect, at all, you might think they put all those sexual themes in bayonetta to make people laugh, but they didnt, they did it so that it could become popular, look, the creator's previous studio, clover, closed because their games bombed horribly on sales, they couldnt afford to keep losing money so the guy just said "why dont we throw in a bunch of sexual stuff in the next game? you know, sex sells!!" thats why they did it, theres no other excuse, and I dont like it because of that, because its a game so lame it had to add all those things so that crazy teenagers would feel interested in playing it.

also bayonetta (the character) is horrible and annoying, thats one of the main reasons I dont like it either, you may say that dante is a gigolo but he dresses up decently (he only walks around "shirtless" (not really since he has his trenchcoat) in DMC3, as a matter of fact he was pretty covered in DMC1) and he doesnt go around getting naked either, and like I said he doesnt act like a "gigolo" all the time, but bayonetta on the other hand always acts like a slut.

it was not sexualized to be funny, it was sexualized so it could sell better, and apparently it sold poorly on 360, good, the plan backfired, maybe they wont make a sequel.
