if that was the sole walk and talk scene i'd be more forgiving but there's literally dozens and dozens before that point. there's one sequence where you're on some guy's farm. you sit through a long cut scene, it ends with you next to your bike in his yard, you get on, drive to the farm gates about ten yards away and it triggers another long cut scene. hilarious if it wasn't so painful.

to answer your question my cynical answer would be people who don't play games.

or more generously, people who place more importance on as cup says le emotion than gameplay, and believe this sort of thing enhances immersion when, for a lot us, it's the opposite and pulls us out of the game, killing immersion

According to the dev the original had a budget of 150 million. Revenue on PS4 alone was 265m
