that depends if you think real cars are invincible.
we're talking about car models, not how they behave.
so damage modelling isnt part of the car?

Go to your local auto parts store and ask for damage modeling to get your answer.

No.
pathetic, why dont i just create the same poll just asking which game has better damage modelling?
environments is more importent then car models
overall PGR4 look better then GT5 but GT5 have better car models
Nisim19
wait wat?
so backgrounds, that you can't interact with, and only see momenteraly are more important then cars?
...yea...in other news...crates are more important then guns in FPS's

Yeah, look:
This is much better:
typical cow. car models only because...? i wonder why... OOH RIGHT. because it's the only thing in GT5p that looks decent.
anyway: car models GT5p, overall pgr 4.
crunchUK
Or maybe car models were something he was genuinely interested in talking about?
And yeah, GT wins.

TC is uber-exemplary cow
i almost went there, but i'm kinda tired of that phrase. A damage comparison and we're supposed to use our imagination because one game doesnt even have damage modelling yet. classic.
[QUOTE="DireOwl"]GT5, unfortunately it takes them two months to make one car look that way. Which is why we will not see the game until 2010.Rikusaki
At least Prologue will get updates that add more cars, tracks, damage and online features.
which sadly we have had for a year and a half now

Well, when GT5 damage is done, it will be done right. Forza damage is a complete joke. Hell, the brake wing on the SLR in Forza doesnt even go up. Forzas damage, well, lets see, compared to the likes of Grid, Grid destroys it in damage. Crash a Ferari 360 at full speed and you engine pops? are they dumb? the engines in the back  The wheel arches and chasis should be messed up. Ah well

Thats how a crash should happen in Forza.

that doesn't happen at all... :|. as far as i'm concerned the only thing wrong with forza 2's damage is the visual bit, which feels very rigid and err i dunno but whatever

I'd rather have no damage at all, then laughable damage.
Forza 2 is a good game, better then GT5:P, but its damage, and you claiming FORZA's damage makes a difference, is simply laughable.

guess again :|. i pointed out the total stupidity of those videos bfore... you fail. FAIL. because... imagine, you are on the 29th lap of a 30 lap race . . when SUDDENLY you brake too late, and smah into the barrier. it's race over and you wasted an hour of your time. that's some difference. as i pointed out forza's ACTUAL damaging is fine, it's the visual part that underwhelms. have no damage at all then... nub.

I think making judgments over forza 2s damage modeling from 8 second youtube clips is fairly laughable. Forza 2 provides consequence to driving badly and it does this well, not to even mention forza 3 which is right around the corner.

not to mention that in video number 1 we don't see the actual performance damage to the cars... and in video number 2 we dont even see the crash. oh lawd that was pathetic
Yeah, cuz lemmings can soo easily know whats going with development of GT5
Good thing you are damage controlling. a Car at 50MPH can cause rediculous amount of havok. www.wreckedexotics.com , have a look at the site and storys, some cars crash at 50mph and have devestating damage. That Forza Saleen video, that car is easily going what? 80mph, and a bumper barely went flying off? LMFAO.
waits for the *but but teh GT5 dont hav deh damage  * Sorry, i dont even care about GT5 to be honest. I more of a Toca and Grid guy. If you played Toca and Grid, you would know what damage is.

a montage of crashes from forza. Enjoy the patheticness
I like how the fanboy lemmings totally changed the subject of what this thread is about. Pathetic :roll:Cedmln
the thread is about car models, trying not to include damage to those car models is just a fanboys way of making GT win.
