2 very good choices guys...but my three picks are:
It's hard to pick just one!
fightninja162
I'd also like to add:

Everyone's favourite lawyer, starring in his best game against eccentric criminals.
We love you Phoenix Wright!
really you consider those games on par with metal gear solid pw ? I played the first couple of ace atorney the only thing it is is a movie all the game does is gives you objection and try to get clues, it's like the game version of ace ventura pet detective.
MGS PW is a real game not a point and click fmv like from the sega cd.
and even in the cut scenes in mgs pw (which you can skip might I add) you have segments of button pressing and shooting at ships.
Point and Click games(also know as Adventure games) are an established genre of games that have existed since the early years of gaming. If you don't consider Ace Attorney a proper game series, then you may as well call titles like Zork, Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Deja Vu, Shadowgate, The Uninvited, Full Throttle, Leisure Suit Larry(The first seven games), King's Quest, and countless other point and click titles casual trash.
How in the world are point and click games any less important then Metal Gear? Both come from established genres that have existed for years. I have played point and click games that have engrossed me more in their world then even some modern titles. Ace Attorney, Maniac Mansion, and Deja Vu all being excellent examples.
By the way, I find it funny that you brought up point and click fmv titles for the Sega CD. Ever heard of a title named Snatcher? Hideo Kojima created that game, and its considered one of the best Sega CD games ever made.
Take a guess at what genre that game is.....
