Best RPG this year is between Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2

Mass Effect 3 was a colossal failure and let down and people are saying that Guild Wars 2 wont have much staying power. D3 and B2, both fantastic games, are the only two RPGs this year that have a reasonable shot at taking the crown. They're just so amazing and provide near endless hours of entertainment bliss. It's astounding. What say ye?

ME3 had one of the most disappointing endings ever and single-handedly destroyed Bioware's reputation by forcing them to change the ending and compromise their artistic integrity. Mass Effect and Bioware are doomed forever :twisted:

Note to the Editor: Neither Diablo III or Borderlands 2 will be nominated for GOTY because they are both AA games.

I'd have to say it's a toss up between ME3 and GW2 since I havent played Borderlands 2 yet.

Guild Wars 2. Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2 are pretty mediocre.

Also, Borderlands 2 looks fantastic. It's improved significantly over the original in every way.

Guild Wars 2 which I own also destroys anything that has come out this year.

Last time I checked there weren't even 1000 public games during peak hours. A good deal of which were likely bots and hackers. Where are these "tons" of players still playing? Could you provide some stats? Or an article that doesn't discuss the huge player dropoff rate?
