Best Sandbox game this gen?

I actually noticed that there are so many good sandbox games this gen..The latest one called Infamous.I still need to play Prototype.

Prototype & crackdown hands down. ive spent over 50 hours playing it, still having fun, my infamous will be sold tommorow for another game !, infamous is boring now that i own prototype ;)

No doubt, I've been more pumped for Prototype than inFAMOUS for a while now, can't wait to buy it.

It was better than i thought, there is so much action, so much crap going on at once, its awesome, lots of random hilarious stuff happens and i cant wait for the sequel after you beat the game you have to find all 131 web of intrique targets to know the whole story, some of the WOI targets creeped the hell out of me. i love that about the game, the concept of the story

It'll be in the sequel :P.....or released as DLC for the first later on, but i doubt that.

What do you want us to say ? infamous ? sorry but that game bored some of us to tears. its more of a platformer than an action packed hero game, Crackdown and Prototype ARE action packed hero games, the choice is easy for me, Uncharted 2.0/Meets static shock, or Prototype & Crackdown :P

Let's see proof of a rental or ownership. I've seen you trashing the game in posts here and the video review section. I mean, you must have hands-on experience with it to be able to question others about a universal AA title, right? Let's see it.

As ive said countless times, Reviews only matter to people who go 'Ga Ga' over a certain game, reviews are useless to someone who doesn't like the game anyway

Shenmue got a 9.7 on IGN, Amazing score, but everyone doesn't like shenmue now do they ?

You were using reviews as if they were facts in the Prototype thread. You can go back and look if you forget. I'm fine with using Gamespot reviews as facts here, as long as we use them consistently. ;)

I always take one review with a grain of salt, i pay attention to the average, Crackdown got a 7 something on here, and i thought it was amazing ! but i believe the reason it got a 7 was for its missions, and non existent story lol

Yea prototype has the better story, out of both inFamous & Crackdown, it seems more thought out, took them a while to come up with, i think they nailed it the Web of intrique is awesome and i love the concept espeacialy when you go out and find all the WOI targets, story is creepy, eery and badass at the same time ! explains why it got its own comic and from what Radical said (working with DC comics on more projects) Prototype will probably become more, we may just see alex outside the comic/game world, not bashing crackdown cause i LOVED crackdown, its one of my favs, but crackdown and infamous story seems like they were made up in a few days. infamous did have the better characters over crackdown tho (crackdown barely had characters)

Did any of you find all the WOI targets ?, i did, i guess Prototype 2 will be about Pariah.......that kid is fn creepy.

My only complaint is not really a complaint, but radical should have somehow incorporated those WOI in the main story, a lot of people play Prototype, beat the main missions and are confused about its story, only because they did not find all those targets, or didnt know they had to, i feel this makes the story as a whole suffer, when you find em, the story becomes great actualy.....everything becomes clear......and future enemies are shown......i was all into 'the conspiracy' and what not. Radical shocked me, im surprised they did such an awesome job on its story.

Prototype lost because it scored less than inFamous. That's why it lost.

I never said which one was better, or said that reviews define which is better.

Prototype lost in the SW game because it scored less. It has nothing to do with being "better" or "worse", or which one I like more ;)
