Almost in the 70's for the most important MS game in two generations. Fallen off isn't even enough to describe the current situation.

Another Starfield thread? Oh well. I have been enjoying Starfield since day 1 and it is a 9/10 for me. I find it strange that some people rate it low, but there are certainly a lot of biased haters out there.

Their responses reminded me of Kojima telling us American audiences don't have the same artistic sensibilities as Europeans and thus don't understand death stranding. I haven't played Starfield so I don't know if it's a good game, or a great game or a lousy game. I just don't really see anything unprecedented with Bethesda.... Tacky maybe. I thought the same about Kojima.

Iv grown up with the Elites, X-Wing/Tie Fighter, Privateer, Wing Commander, X series, Freelancer games and Starfield just seemed really lame. Iv only ever refunded two games in all my time and Starfield is one of them. Even the bag of wank that is NMS wasnt that bad.

But it’s designed to be boring and lame…

All us master race PC users are delighted to play the consensus greatest game of all time, The Last of Us on our ultra high end PCs.

I've heard nothing but good things from people who own the game or have been playing it on GamePass.

Shocking, but yes this is a good Bethesda game. If you liked past Bethesda games and you aren't playing this, you're probably missing out. A good number of people are high on copium because they don't have a platform to play it on. I understand, but cope is cope.

I have no thoughts on anyone contacting someone who's left their opinion. If they didn't like it, it is what it is. I don't like Bethesda games so I wouldn't play this even if it was free, but some people won't know they don't like the Bethesda formula until they try it. Some of those people will leave a review expressing their disappointment. Again, it is what it is. They should suck it up like every other business does.

I personally really like Skyrim more so than Starfield. I expected to be better than Skyrim but that's just not the case. Starfield isn't the worst Bethesda game, just disappointing. I want it to be Skyrim in space but nope, all I've gotten out of it is Fallout in Space. Not good.

Steam reviews I've read were being honest about it. Even AJS reviewed it and gave it a 6/10, as well as I did in my last post in the hype thread.
