Better graphics: Gears 2 or MGS4?

From what ive seen of GeoW2, it has the edge. MGS4 has great looking character models, but its environments can be questionable at times, and its textures are distractingly bad.-DrRobotnik-

Yeah. But I honestly can think of a game that looks as amazing as MGS4 with those huge environments. That's what makes it so technically impressive. Some blurry textures yes, but the variety and art make up for it IMO. There are some high-res textures of course in certain areas, but some quality had to be sacrificed for all of the other amazing graphical effects.

And when you say environments can be questionable... Do you mean some texture resolution or the level design?

I think assassins creed has better graphics than MGS4. Gears looks better than AC.

I think that SSBB has the best graphical representation of Snake ever.

Gears 2 is geared (no pun) to be ultra-violent and over-the-top past realism. MGS4 is more for realism though.
