Its cut off via the developer camera. All developers do this to get shots for their games.

2. EVEN IF that is what Halo 3 SP looks like, it doesnt look like E306, the texturing on MC armor is nowhere near E306

Why would Bungie doctor an image for the SP campaign when they are having the official reveal in a weeks time?

If they put out a bullshot now, and the SP at E3 didn't match up they would look extremely stupid.

All the new screen really needs is more high-res textures on the Chief's armor and a more vibrant visor reflection. Even though the visor reflection...well not many people imagine that the finished product will resemble the E3 06 trailer.

It's probably in game but it's not ingameplay which is more important. None the less Halo 3 will rock as the graphics already are good enough for me

What I am wondering is why they would release that now? Its only 5 days till E3 so I guess it is either a teaser type image or a way to lower hype since it wont be the first time we see the Campaign.justforlotr2004

lol but why did they get the image out of all the media sources. Just seems kinda weird to me. Anyway hopefully we will see that in action at E3, Im sure the lighting and other visual effects are not getting justice in the image alone.
