Better Platformer:LBP or SMG?(poll)

I'm gonna go ahead and pick SMG.

Platformer wise? SMG murders LBP and is not even a contest.

SMG is the better platformer, but imo LBP is a better game overall. Love the floaty physics.

LBP is more of a tool than a game. A means for nobodies to consider themselves somebodies by making little stages for others to play.

SMG is a true platformer.

As a game? LBP easily. SMG bores me to no end.

As a platformer? Probably SMG.

you can't be a great platformer with terrible controls. smg by far.

lol joke post. new super mario wii is also a better platformer than lbp. personally the biggest grip with lbp is the horrible floaty jumping, which kirby also have and is still a better platformer than lbp.

Mario. The actual platforming in LBP is terrible.

LBP has platforming elements, though I wouldn't classify it as a "platformer" per say. SMG, I suppose, wins by defualt.

As a platformer, SMG.

As a game, LBP.

Super Mario Galaxy by far.

I found LBP dull, and it had some awful jumping mechanics (imo).

SMG. LBP is cool and everything but it just isn't as good as SMG.

LBP is a pretty bad platformer.

I can't even finish LBP... -__- That game bores me. Maybe if I play with friends it'd be better.

Talking purley of platforming then SMG destroys LBP.

Can someone explain to me why LBP is such a terrible platformer. I enjoyed it much more than SMG and I like the floaty controls much more.

Little Big Planet is sooo much fun playing co-op and with a partner.
Great on Parties too.

Am still playing LBP and ive not played SMG for a while.

Super Mario Galaxy, it's not even close. I love the LBP series, but its platforming isn't what makes it great. It's very floaty and often infuriating.

I've only played the first entries in both SMG and LBP. I prefered the crazy, often gravity-defying platforming that the 3D worlds allowed in SMG.

LBP was still great as well though.

Floaty vs. gravity physics = no brainer.
