It's more about how people don't think story should be weighed so heavily in the review. That's all. I thought the SP gameplay design was better than Killzone 2, but not at your own pace, and one of the last on-rails sequences was bad, with little to no control.

Reviewers really didn't hold back on the single player.

BC2's story was horrible but it was saved by its openness and destruction. Too bad about BF3

What was said is that CoD hasn't had infinite respawning enemies since Modern Warfare. Which is wrong to begin with, since WaW had them at every other turn. Black Ops does have them, distinct or not. I only remember two levels that had them, but they're still there...

Just read the review and the score makes perfect sense. I don't know why people are damage controlling. Admit it flopped, and enjoy the great game with a great score.

I hate COD because its a horrible franchise that has ruined the FPS market. I have played MW1 extensively and MW2 for about a week and it was just MW1.1.

Reviewers only want KS perks and 80000 levels to unlock Desert camo #2424242424. The SP in the COD games is the worst writing on the face of the Earth and reviewers praise its four hour campaign with a plot that makes no sense. It's one giant plot hole.

BF3 has those features now too, but fortunately Dice didnt cave and make the MP a twitch camp fest and actually promotes communication and teamwork.

I second this..got very annoying

I guess EA isn't flying reviewers in helicopters to paradise resorts where they relax in their own hotelroom with a hooked up console and CoD like Activision does.

not a bad reading on it's own. But COD scored higher, and we know the EA pr was really shooting down COD.

Still, this game is immensly better online. It looks so damn good I'm getting a computer just to play it.

I'm not attacking the idea, exactly. It was super annoying on Veteran in WaW because of the grenade spam but other than that it was never game breaking for me.

I'm just pointing out that it was said CoD hasn't had infinite enemies since MW and that was incorrect since Black Ops had them :P

Well, this thread seems a lot less blood thirsty than I thought it would be. And people are up-in-arms about UC3 getting a 9? SW makes me sad, people never get mad about the games I want them to. :(enterawesome

Try playing Conquest and not Rush which is not what the BF series was designed for.

How on Earth is BF3 more campy than COD which uses maps the size of my two car garage? What an absolutely hilarious thing to say.

The story in COD games are incredibly one dimensional and minimal effort is put in putting together a coherent story. Ohhh man, but look at the nuke making my helicopter crash. WHAT A GREAT SP!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh look i spawned and if i walf for three seconds i can see the enemy. Better yet if i throw a grenade, i will get a triple kill and get my Chopper Gunner and watch a movie while i "out play everyone.

They are fantastic, and if the game was reviewed on the MAIN REASON people are buying it, and something that is a BF trademark; multiplayer, then Bf3 might score higher. But because they looked at it as the whole package, thanks to the rather lacklustre campaign (DICE really doesn't know how to make campaigns exciting) I think that's why it scored lower than COD.
