A laughable review. It has become very clear that major sites only care for COD and its casual oriented gameplay that rewards time spent and no actual coordination or gasp effort.

I look forward to seeing GS give MW3 a 9.0 and praise its four hour story and copy and paste MP.

Meh. Kevin V's review of Dark Souls and his involvement in making Demons Souls GOTY, and being involved in other notable 8.5spot events, make me doubt in him also.

Actually I am surprised Kevin-V did not review the Pc version.. I was almost sure he would be the one to review the game. Oh well.. more popcorn.

been playing near the same MP for years now...wonder why reviewers seem to ignore that.lawlessx

Today was the best day in SW in months.First the DC from UC3 not scoring as high as GEoW3 and now this.:lol:

Oh look...the most overhyped game this gen is a flop, who would have guessed. Really, ever since the beta i have been saying this game was just an average military fps like all the other 100s out there, nothing new, nothing special. Wheres EA\DICE and their PR saying this would be the best game ever? FLOOOOOOOOP. At least we don't have to hear from EA for some time...F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-FLOP.Nolakk

Yea R3 has a great campaign :?

In fact, IMO, it's better than 99% of shooters that come out now-a-days. The only two games that are probably better than it are BioShock and Deus Ex.

One thing R3 did amazingly well was the weapons. All of them were fun to use and had situations that suited each perfectly. I have to say though, the Mutator is probably the most overpowered, yet awesome, weapon I have ever seen. I used that gun like 5 times and it was already maxed level 3. I literally hit one guy with it, hid in the corner, looked like 15 seconds later and saw a hole bunch of enemies dead from the one guy I shot :lol:

The sad part is how I actually have MW2 on steam!:lol:

The story in BF3 is garbage, but no one buys the game for the SP. Dice just added it because they felt like it. GS harps on it like its the core element of the game.

You can argue "they should have delivered a complete product" BUT THEY DID. They delievered the best MP shooter to date and GS thinks that a weak SP actually makes the game worse. That would be true if anyone actually cared about the SP.

Gamespot has a general rule to go at least .5 below Ign to show that they are "more critical" reviewers... and the best part is that I'm more or less just typing for the sake of typing... what matters is what YOU actually feel about the game...

There is no way on Earth that MW3 can get above an 8.5 on GS.

BF3 has delievered a better MP experience. Please dont say you havent played MW3 yet. I have played it........four years ago.

The SP will be another four hour infinite respawning enemies fest with a plot that looks like it was auto generated by a computer.

So how come Uncharted 3 doesn't have a new thread? I mean if you close the BF3 hype thread after 3000 how come the Uncharted 3 thread hasn't closed after almost 7000? I'm sensing something here...

I felt that there was a last minute change of hype to 9.5-10, but fine, I'll use Infa-Flop

It may not be a 'core' element to the game, but it's there, and reviews take the whole game, not just the 'core' of it.

It deserves it's score, and would have scored better w/o a SP campaign, Dice still can't offer a good one, makes me lose a bit of faith in Mirror's Edge2 if they do the story... I also think that if Rage didn't have it's worthless story, instead focused more on the gameplay, it coulda pulled .5 higher of a score.

Like I told Wasdie in the other thread, now you know how Killzone fans thought about reviewers trashing the story in KZ3 lol. But with the BF3 criticism it stretches farther than just story, from all the reviews I've been reading.
