BF4 on X1 is 720p at 60FPS/10 maps revealed with pics

I don't understand this need for 60fps.

30FPS is fine, as long as it's locked in at 30fps and doesn't spike down at spots.

I'd much rather have the 1080p visuals instead of 60fps.

:shock: I figured like 480P since teh powerhouse PS4 is only able to do 720P. :P

Anyway, should be some 64 player sweetness.

Going by those pics, there'll be some nice environmental variety between maps. I just hope they're well designed.

Damn... by that time, I'd say the 4K will be making its way into the mainstream on the PC. If PS4/X1 gen ends up lasting 7-8 years like this one, it's more than a reasonable assumption.

I wonder how muddy the textures will be on my PC at the resolution of 2560x1080 with my GTX 680 or the card that I am waiting for the R9 290X?...

Going by those pics, there'll be some nice environmental variety between maps. I just hope they're well designed.

For an FPS 60 FPS is ideal. I would take 720p at 60fps over 30 fps at 1080p any day.

So glad I can experience true next gen capabilities with my PC.

Sorry about the bad news, consolites. Anyhow, I'll be playing the superior version on PC @ 1920x1080 @ 60 FPS (I've got an HD 7970 on the way). Maybe nextgen, buds. :(

I like the diversitiy in the maps. Got my ps4 copy already paid off already.

Well it's confirmed to be higher. I doubt they would mention the difference unless it's 900p or 1080p

It literally says that it's in the dev environment and the final resolution still needs to be confirmed

I'm sure most of the multiplats will be 720p or 900p upscaled to 1080p on the PS4. 50% more powerful my @ss. I think developers want their games at 60fps more then 30fps or less. the games will look better on the PC obviously, but more gamers will still play these games on consoles.
