BF4: PS4 MP looks better than X1 SP

Some more shots. This game is quite a looker. The DOF effects are very nicely done though some textures here and there are a bit muddy

Jack was saying all week long he was surprised with the difference between the two and that one did look better than the other but couldn't say more. This is way of someone else saying it for him so he doesn't get in trouble for breaking NDA. It's pretty clear what he's implying without directly saying it

the beta sucked at first, but after the first 2 patches it started running smooth. at least for me it did. You might be running into VRAM issues

Eh? That screen is from the E3 keynote that was obviously from a PC.

In the markets that matter, the 360 outsold the PS3.

Didn't he say the 29th he would reveal? It's the 28th in my part of the world.

He said he'd upload his own console footage then. This still isn't him directly saying anything so it's not breaking any rules

Oh my god. I just got done playing BF3 on ultra. It looks like a last gen game compared to those screens.

I'll try and unlock the game using a korean IP address when I get home in a couple hours. I hope the campaign is less shit than in 3, it'd be nice to have some decent open levels to go along with the eye candy.

The guy who posted these pics said the campaign is less terrible than BF3s so that's something.

It might still be abd but hopefully less so

unfortunately it looks like you have to complete the campaign to get all the weapon unlocks in MP

I have a 12mbps internet connection, but I am getting some 100KB/s of download speed on Origin. Lol.

We will find out soon enough to see if rumors are true. At best, cows have a ps3 with improved graphics that may look better than X1. At worst, X1 will have the better looking game AND all the extra features to go with it

That's honestly my reason for going Xbox One. 400 and 500 bucks are to much money for a gaming console and its gotta do more than just gaming for me. It has to do things with my current TV that the previous system couldn't. And if the trade-off is great graphics but not as good as PS4 I'll live with that. When I think of 2014 and see Quantum Break, Titanfall, Fable Legends, Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive, and Halo 5 along with a year of free Xbox Fitness, exclusive new TV programming and turning my current HD TV into a smart tv, I'll sacrifice being the graphics king. Having seen One games with my own two eyes if they can achieve that at launch, going forward I'll be just fine. But other people that want the most powerful gaming system and aren't interested in all the rest of that stuff, I don't think they're dumb for wanting a PS4. For what it is designed to do, I think it will do it very, very well.

Not only that, but on NeoGAF they quoted him saying that we will be surprised when we see PS4 vs XO footage.

Why would we be surprised with the PS4 version being superior? If the console technically is. So I'm guessing it could be the XO version that looks better.

@daious: Ultra everything with 4xMSAA. It's a good looking game but BF4 has way more detail.

Looks awesome, looking forward to seeing it first hand in ultra loveliness.
