Big 3DS Day: What all did you pick up today?

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, but I'm still a bit torn on getting the New 3DS XL. I own the original 3DS and got it in May 2011 so I've had it for awhile and it would be a "huge" upgrade in power and just about everything, but I'm afraid that before you know it, the next successor for the 3DS might pop up two or three years down the line. Probably not, but who knows. Would you guys still recommend getting it? Tried it out in GameStop yesterday, was cool, thought the C-stick would move around though instead of being locked into place though lol.

New 3D tech is awesome.

I got a red N3dsxl and a copy of Majora's Mask 3D. Pretty satisfied with both. And Majora's Mask is still my all time favorite game.

Am I the only one who can't find a North American New 3DS XL anywhere? I go on Amazon and all they list is the super expensive MM version, the Japanese, and PAL version. It's sold out in stores near me too.

I'm buying MH4 and MM tomorrow. I'll get the N3DS when I need a new one.

I didn't get anything. I'm not interested in the new 3DS and I don't like RPGs (especially Zelda and MH).

Just copped Majora mask today now too. Monster Hunter is sweet so far and I've never played Majora so that's cool Zelda is almost always a sure shot. That dam Majora Mask edition N3dsxl is so sick Nintengod delivers again!

From what I understand, the C stick is literally that, a stick, with no movement, and it just responds to pressure on its sides, right?

I managed to snag one from Walmart, but had to pay more for shipping to get it this Friday. Probably not the wisest idea, but went ahead and paid more anyways.

yeah....you cant use it like a button or a circle pad...you have to treat it like something completely new....

i couldnt get it to work the way i wanted to in re revelations...but MGS3 worked nice....so i have hope for monster hunter4(when mine arrives)

I got Majora's mask with the skull kid in the mail today.

I got all 3. Majoras mask console, the game, and Mohun.

Which one is your favorite?

@charizard1605: Majoras Mask, in my opinion, was the last really innovative Zelda game. It's so miserable and dark. But I find it stressful as **** and don't really like playing it! haha. I'm glad I was able to get the MM console. But Mohun 4 is pretty spot on. I think the reviewers calling it the most realized Mohun yet were absolutely correct.

Generally I agree with you, but yeah, MH4U ate up into all of my time for MM3D haha

Yep. Plus they made the action faster, and more immediately gratifying, which helped so much.
