Big xbox360 exclusive cancelled next week

I am going to say it's Halo Wars or either Ninja Gaiden 2. Also with all these developers leaving M$ I wouldn't be surprised if after christmas M$ announces that they are leaving the console wars.-Renegade

The question still remains. Who's the big name leaving MS? Bill Gates? (that wouldn't really be news.. we all know he's leaving anyway) who knows... I don't really know the MS employees.. who's the biggest name in Microsoft outside BG?0rin

The reason why nobody is talking about the person leaving MS is that nobody cares who leaves MS because whoever it is will have no effect for the gaming industry or the 360 as MS has nobody that touches games really.

I think you're right, but at this point, everything we say is purely speculative, even whether anything will be cancelled at all. I'm betting it's Banjo if anything, but we'll have to wait until next week to see.

If the game getting cancelled is really as big as they say it is then i would guess Too Human. But i honestly bet it will be something we barely know or care about.

Yeah they both were because it was something like Marvel was exclusive to the 360 well DC was going to be excusive to the PS3.....I am a huge comic book nerd so I thought that was kinda funny

I just don't think Rare would cancel it. They recently had a f.a.q. where they answered a ton of question from people who are dying to play the game and they assured them that it still needed work but it would come out. I have it somewhere, ill try to find it.

Scene It - Announce and not a big game.

Banjo - Sadly no knews since 06 but there was word from Rare that it's still in the works

Halo Wars - We got an update on this game this year (doubt it)

PJ Halo - Havent heard **** since it was announced (maybe PJ decided he doesn't want to make games after all)

Kingdom Under Fire - We have had news thought it was the most recent and it's scheduled to release in a few weeks in Japan

Mass Effect - It's releasing in less than 2 weeks and I believe has gone gold (it has even been reviewed)

Marvel MMO - Havent heard Jack since it was announced and it's an MMO and we all know about MMO's :| (maybe)

Too Human - In strife with Epic which is a huge Microsoft partner though we have had updates on the games and it seems to be comming along.

Lost Odyssey - releases in a few weeks in Japan (doubt it)

Alan Wak- I just doubt that it's Alan Wake though we havent heard much from Remedy.

Fable 2 - We have had plenty of updates on it this year so I doubt it. It seems to be comming along just fine.

So at the end it's looking like the Marvel MMO or the PJ Halo to me.

Thre is also Project Offset which is supposely being published by Microsoft but there has been no offical announcement.

If Rare is still working on some Nintendo ports that are actually Nintendo properties, does that mean you can still revisit those series, like Donkey Kong Country, or Killer Instinct?

JT: Nintendo like us to do the ports of the games that we did for them for their format.

We've done the Donkey Kong Country remakes because [Rare] was the home of it. Nintendo have asked us to do those. I think there's still a really good relationship between Rare and Nintendo. Yeah, we get on really well.

That kind of thing doesn't happen very often.

JC: No, I think it's unique to the fact that Microsoft aren't planning on releasing a handheld, so there's no conflict of interest there. I think the management is still friends with people at Nintendo -- like Ken Lobb went over [to Microsoft] as well, so there's still connections between the two businesses.

I mentioned Killer Instinct -- a lot of people are hoping that you guys are going to do that again. I thought it would be very difficult since you're Microsoft-owned, but if you do have that relationship, then on the handheld page...

JT: The thing is, when we were working with Nintendo, there were some properties that were ours -- and are ours, furthermore. Banjo is a great example. Banjo is all ours, although potentially Nintendo could release the old games for the Virtual Console on the Wii. Any future ventures would be from Rare on whatever format we're working on. It's a pretty even split. Obviously they didn't give us Donkey Kong. I don't know why. (laughs
