Biggest Disappointment of 2010?

GT5. 5 years of development and constant delays for this.

Personally I was disappointed the most by Medal of Honor, what about you guys?

Not really. Actually I think the game is pretty damn amazing. What shortcomings there are seem to be getting blown way out of proportion. People seem to think a long dev cycle should = the 2nd coming. Like you put the game into your PS3 and it transforms into any car of your choice or some ****. Your expectations have to be ridiculously, unrealistically high to consider the game the biggest disappointment of the year. Not to say I'm not seeing justified complaints. The game isn't perfect.

But when you simply evaluate the game on its own merits, the game is outstanding.

Also this is SW of course. One of the biggest exclusives of the gen just released. One that has been hyped on this board since before the PS3 even released. I would be more surprised if it wasn't winning this poll right now.

I think GT5, I was really expecting something to blow my mind with all the time they worked on it and the content going into it.

im going with alanwake even though ididnt buy it lol the review says it all

and i got good deals on nearly 80 percent of my purchases as i shop at pawnshops and such for many of my games only the new games you see , i paid 60-50 dollars or less-29 for who wants to be amilionaire wii

so ya um nothin i bought this year disappointed me one bit

well not games wise , console wise im sure having to replace a 9th n64 , hurts!

I don't know whether to choose Mass Effect 2 or Red Dead Redemption, they both sucked big time. Funny this two are GOTY for a lot of plp xD

Of the list I picked Alan Wake since I was really hoping for a good horror game.

Off the list I would say Gothic 4. They butchered that series.

GT5 is about more than just graphics, bro. No other game comes close to eh accurate handling of GT5. I'd rahter have a game that looks like a psx game and handles well than a game that looks awesome and drives like Forza 3.

The only games I've played on that list are Final Fantasy XIII and Metroid Other M, neither of which were disappointments to me, so those don't count.

My biggest disappointment would be Resonance of Fate. When seeing and hearing about the game, it looked like an amazing game. In the end though the gameplay was frusterating to the point it became unenjoyable, and not always for the right reasons. game felt pretty dull after a while as well. NOt a bad game, but nowhere near as good as I was expecting it to be.

Biggest disappointment for me was God of War 3. I thought it did just about everything sub-par compared to Batman: AA a few months earlier. The puzzles, adventuring, beating things up, and the lack of a depressed, and angry 13 year old in an 8 foot tall, Greek God's body was nice too :P

Other M, and goldeneye. Goldeneye was just horrible.
