Biggest Flop of the Year (so far)

Brink flopped quite a bit. I enjoy the game alot, but dammit it was meant to be better than this. H

HomeFront was just straight up pathetic though. Premise was cool, Mp is alrite, but on PC it's pretty much dead in NZ/AUS already

Why do I get the feeling that the only reason this thread was made was so the TC could throw Resistance 3 under the bus? The game met it's hype and most certainly did not flop. Why is it on the poll? You didn't even put the two biggest flops of the year on it - DNF and InFamous 2 (kinda hurts having to put InFamous 2 next to DNF. Sorry I2 :( ).

I voted Homefront since everyone was making a HUGE deal about it being some sort of super game better than COD and BF ever was! But it wasn't anything special.

But to be honest I don't care about people who call games "flops" because most of the time it's just fanboys overexaggerating and using GS scores like they are gods. If I enjoy the game than that's all that matters, like I fail to see how Killzone 3 "flopped", 8.5 is a great score and Killzone 3 is amazing. I also don't understand how Infamous 2 "flopped", mabey by GS scoring it did, but GS is biased so I don't know why people think that their scores should matter. *cough* Gertsman *cough*

By GS standards - Infamous 2. It still got a good score and a high metacritic, but the rage was intense. Not Twilight Princess legendary, of course, but probably the biggest rage this year.

Lol. I just don't believe him. Hell, maybe he wasn't even suggesting that he has played it. But he accused R3 of being a flop when it's not, called it bland, and said that InFamous 2 flopping was hilarious. Doesn't sound like the most unbiased guy in the world :lol:

I think GT is up there. Since it was a game worked on for so dang long. DNF wasint in development the whole time. It was dead for a while but people seem to forget that and for some reason adds those years.

Lol at that comparision is pathetic. For all we know, Forza could've not been selling well after it's first six weeks anyway, so making it 2 years is just a cheap trick, as it most likely didn't sell much after those first few months.

And most people bought GT5 because of brand name and loyalty. If it had anything to do with quality, Forza would have sold much more

I'd say DNF or Brink, and really, outside of these forums in the real world most people didn't have a problem with Dragon Age 2 and Bullet storm got good reviews but just didn't sell that well.

Duke Nukem Forever gets my vote.

Infamous 2 here. Brink in general. DNF wasn't supposed to be great so it just gets the biggest fail award.
