resistance 3 meeting its hype is a flop? :lol: trolololol only in system wars. according to SW standards , infamous 2 (though im playing it now and its no where near a 7.5 :|) personally i say mvc3 , pretty disappointed.
Duke Nukem Forever, by a long, long way. Any other answer is simply wrong. Followed by Brink, Homefront and Dragon Age II. Resistance 3 and Bulletstorm didn't flop, and Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 flopped the by the most miniscule amount that it realy didn't matter. inFamous 2, score wise, flopped, but the game itself wasn't nearly bad enough to be a major flop of any quantity and to be honest, deserved a much higher score.
Did people really expedt DNF to be anything but terrible? Homefront was a CoD clone, that was apparant from every piece of media. Edit: Oh, and Bulletstorm, to me, was a game to hold people over until Gears of War 3.
My vote goes to Brink. It actually looked amazing before it was released and promised a lot of new and great ideas, but had a terrible, TERRIBLE final execution.
Oh, definitely Dragon Age 2. It was like DX: Invisible War levels of backlash from fans of Origins. In terms of score I guess it was DNF, since I don't think anyone expected it to score quite THAT low. But it wasn't a surprise that it was bad either.
LOL @ people saying Killzone 3 and Infamous 2. If those are flops then i hope more flops get released, thoroughly enjoyed those 2 because i dont let GS reviewers decide my gaming purchases.

it's the biggest flop in gaming history. IYO sure, in my eyes not a chance. Doom 3 for example was a lot more disappointing for me than DNF Doom 3 was so much better than DNF... DNF was just crap.

Creating your own criteria for what a flop is? Look at the posters on this thread who said R2, every single one is known for drinking the lemingade. They had to vote for it, it's the only PS3 exclusive on the list. Even though it's in no way shape or form a flop
Well, DNF, actually. But out of those above, I'd say DA2, since no one really expect much from Brink to begin with, and Homefront, R3 and Bulletstorm got the scores they deserved.

The outrage was that because the score and the written review was consistent with little to none of the people who actually played the game.
